Their assignment would be to memorize five new words and their definition every day.  They must start with "illegal" and "volunteer."

Sandy Sand began her writing career while raising three children and doing public relations work for Women's American ORT (Organization for Rehabilitation through Training). That led to a job as a reporter for the San Fernando Valley Chronicle, a weekly publication in Canoga Park, California. In conjunction with the Chronicle, she broadcast a tri-weekly, 10-minute newscast for KGOE AM. Following the closure of the Chronicle, Sand became the editor of the Tolucan Times and Canyon Crier newspapers in Burbank. She is currently a guest columnist for the Los Angeles Daily News and contributor to ronkayela.com

Comparing apples to eggplants

Vacation time is just that:  Paid time off from work that is earned for time spent on the job.

What one does with vacation time is up to each individual who has earned vacation time.

Being paid to do volunteer work while one is on the clock at tax payers' expense does not compute in any way whatsoever to doing what one wants while on earned vacation time.

Interesting point about "fees" is they are an elected payment or volunteered payment. In other words your government can not require you to pay "fees" these are fees you elected to pay by choosing to do something. If fees are on water, sewer, electricity then the dwellings must be able to be habitable without power, sewer, or water if "fees" are tacked onto these services. Fees can be added to telephone and other services because they are not required for habitation.

These "fees" should be challenged if they are on required services. The fees are no longer "fees" they are taxes.

Gee...

...maybe I should move out to Kali and become a permanent volunteer! I'll take about any paying gig I can get.

Right is right, and isn't it amazing how wide the definition of right is when it comes to politicians...and I am not talking right as in wing, but right as in proper, fair, equitable (legal?!?!?!). It's amazing the crap that government officials can do that would send you or I into the hoosegow, yet they commit the same crimes AND continue to breathe the sweet air of freedom. It's as bad here in Texas as it is in Kali, and we have the unfortunate problem of being under Rick (get out of Texas, you faggots) Perry. Oh, and don't even get me started on the dumb-fest that is Dallas City Council.

...brr...shiver down spine. Kinky, what happened to you, my man?

Anyway, it's good to know that Texas and Dallas don't have a lock on stupid and criminal when it comes to politics as usual.

Blessed be!
Pappy
