There is a highly circulating open letter from general Leonid Ivashov to the Russian Defense Minister S. Ivanov practically accusing Ivanov of selling Russia to NATO. That position is very popular among the powerful Russian Officers Association.
In dealings with Russia the US actually behaves like a money- grabbing gangster. There is no 'Russian policy'. There is only push and shove. The US in may cases is being 'led' by the slick Europeans as a shark with big teeth but no brain. It was not in the US interests to push for the partition of the former Soviet Union and openly help the separatists in Ukraine and Asian districts. It was in the private interests. It was not in the US interests as a country to destroy Jugoslavia. Whoever directs the US policy towards the slavic countries is a traitor to the US interests. Those individuals put our citizens at mortal danger. There is no Cold War: there is a a very much looming real war and we already have casulaties. It is interesting to see that the letter by general Ivashov practically says the same thing about Russian leadership I say here. In both cases, whether here or there we deal with the low- level scum selling the interests of their countries to highest bidder. Only our scum makes noises about democracy and their scum- about stability. In both cases the real cause that scum rules is that we, the populus let them do that.
