Clinton thinks her tough talk makes her "electable."
The sad thing is, we really don't know. Based on recent history, it might, unless someone can break through all the screeching and lies with a better alternative.

... our mainstream media. They came out proudly at the Philadelphia debate but found out quickly that only 16% of the country has any respect for them. I liked the boos directed at that news bot during the debate. It's the follow up to the Pauli's chasing Hannity down the street yelling at him. Pretty soon the network news fibbers will only be able to appear in public at other news venues since venturing out represents too much opportunity for sincere, heart felt feedback;)

She's bot like, in some special death zone where she, like W, shows her greatest comfort. She should be ashamed, truly. But she and her controller Bill have no shame, just a "task." I really couldn't believe what she's saying if I hadn't seen the video. As Mr. Kurtz said, "... the horror ..." She's our bland heart of darkness.

What would the United States Do if some other country was continually threatening it with destruction? Would the USA say OK, we will do whatever you want, or would they be considered fighting words?

We'd do what they'll probably do: develop a method of protecting ourselves. How strange it must be to have threats like that coming your way. Imagine an intelligent worldly Iranian having a Holocaust denier for president and a US presidential candidate (of the "left") threatening to blow Iran off the map. That's beyond cruel. But Hillary doesn't care. She has her "task" and she'll "do everything" she can to fulfill it. Very creepy stuff. But Rev. Wright is so much more pertinent.

...is Ron Paul's warning about imminent U.S. invasion of Iran. He's been saying for years now that we are going to invade them. I don't care if the president is Democrat or Repulican; the U.S. Dollar is at stake, so we will move to stop the Iranian Oil Bourse.
From www.energybulletin.net/12125.html : "The Iranian government has finally developed the ultimate 'nuclear' weapon that can swiftly destroy the financial system underpinning the American Empire. That weapon is the Iranian Oil Bourse slated to open in March 2006. It will be based on a euro-oil-trading mechanism that naturally implies payment for oil in Euro. In economic terms, this represents a much greater threat to the hegemony of the dollar than Saddam's, because it will allow anyone willing either to buy or to sell oil for Euro to transact on the exchange, thus circumventing the U.S. dollar altogether. If so, then it is likely that almost everyone will eagerly adopt this euro oil system."
So Hillary's comments really don't surprise me in the least. Iran does not pose a threat to anyone, yet the government controlled corporate media continues to beat the war drums. The only Democrat candidates that actually questioned the war in Iraq and the supposed threat of Iran were Kuccinich and Gravel, and you can see they are no longer in the race. On the Repub side Ron Paul was the *only* candidate to question the war and demand our immediate withdrawl, and he's always said Iran poses absolutely no threat to us, nor to Isreal.

Hillary's answer to the question in question is more clearly understood
in the context of her--and every other candidate's--need to reassure the Zionists that America's first and foremost purpose is to be Israel's perpetual benefactor and bodyguard. even at the expense of our own existence. No one running for public office in America can succeed if he'she does not meet the approval of Israel's neo-cons: the Zionist faction. These fanatics have complete control of America's foreign policy, and toadying up to them may not ensure the former front-runner's victory 100%, but deals have been struck and must be honored. That's The Way Its Done.
