The mission to crack the 911 case gains traction

And more to the point, the reason and the cause:

The 911 Commission, in it's final report, determined that the source of the financing of the 911 terror attacks on the United States - speaking directly to the motive, "... is ultimately of little consequence..."

More Commission reasoning:

The 911 Commission concludes in it's report that key FAA personnel were "hopeless bunglers deserving prosecution for criminal neglegence" and goes on to claim that they cannot find any particular person deserving of blame for the disaster. The commission praises the FAA for landing thousands of airliners across the United States when it was ordered to do so, a task unprecedented in aviation history - yet the agency failed miserably in contacting the military about an errant aircraft - a task that it preforms regularly. The Commission further claims that the military must rely solely on the FAA for radar services, blatantly ignoring the independent military radar that dwarfs the civilian radar network - both in scope and sophistication. In the nine months preceeding 911, the FAA had contacted the military - and NORAD had intercepted errant aircraft 67 times. Average time to intercept: 16 minutes. In the previous year, there had been over 120 such events, all with comparable intercept times.

A brief recap to frame the conclusions:

The collapse of the World Trade Center Towers was an unexpected and immense benefit to a group of insiders, and they were not Muslim fanatics.

The wide-spread, highly unusual activities in the WTC Towers in the months before the attacks is ignored by the Commission.

The members of The Project for a New American Century, several that occupied the highest positions of political power, suddenly realized previously unimagined public support for their agenda, both in the US and on the world stage.

The entire military complex of the United States would would be substantially expanded. Afghanistan and Iraq would be attacked, invaded and occupied.

The critical causes of the failure to respond to the 911 attacks by the US military were complied only after the key officials' third attempt to do so - and the members of the 911 Commission knew it.

These repeated contradictions of substance - the central aspect of the central event - by the highest level officials of the Pentagon and NORAD prior to the final report's release were not mentioned by the Commission.

Vice president Dick Cheney was at the epicenter of Command and Control, yet he was allowed to brief the Commission with George Bush at his side, neither were sworn under oath and no record was allowed. Notes taken by Commission members were collected by the Secret Service at the briefing's conclusion.

Vice president Dick Cheney's claims of his actions on 911 are sharply contradicted by FAA Chief Norman Mineta's critical, sworn testimony, which is ignored by the Commission.

Sibel Edmund's detailed, scathing and verified indictment of deliberate, repeated FBI supression of crucial evidence is ignored by the Commission.

The FBI supervisors that halted investigations into suspicious, hostile Arab men that later allegedly became hijackers were ignored by the Commission.

The previous associations of several of the alleged hijackers with federal officials and agencies were ignored by the Commission.

Film Review: The Reflecting Pool

Whether you see yourself as a truth seeker, patriotic American, independent thinker or voter, or just someone with bad memories of 9/11, you should make an effort to view The Reflecting Pool, a new independent movie. It is not about 9/11. It is about the credibility of the official government story about 9/11. Though a drama, it is based on meticulously researched facts about 9/11 as revealed in the bonus material on the DVD.

The story is about the search for truth and the unsettling implications of discovering 9/11 truth that conflicts with what has become the folklore about the historic event.

The plot follows the efforts of independent journalist Alex Prokop and Paul Cooper, a researcher and father of a 9/11 victim, to piece together fact-fragments into a picture that ultimately implicates the US government in the attacks. The horror of this revelation rivals the horror of the 9/11 events themselves, especially when we realize that far more people, especially American soldiers, have died because of 9/11 in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan than on 9/11. Yet to close our eyes to this truth makes us co-conspirators in one of the world’s most devilish and despicable events.

And that is the dilemma that viewers face after they watch this disturbing docudrama: What if this fictional story actually and accurately describes how our government played a role in causing 9/11?

Writer/Director Jarek Kupsc plays Alex Prokop who examines a mysterious 9/11 videotape revealing new information on the attack. Joseph Culp appears as Paul Cooper, the man who sent the tape and whose daughter died on 9/11. Though skeptical of conspiracy theories and fearful that it will jeopardize his career, Prokop agrees to take on the story with encouragement from his magazine editor and a former Gulf War correspondent, McGuire, played by Lisa Black.

The film follows Prokop and Cooper, especially as they investigate one of the great mysteries of 9/11: the inexplicable collapse of the 47-story World Trade Center Building 7, not hit by any airplane. They uncover the illegal destruction of physical evidence from Ground Zero, and discover information that the White House knew an attack was imminent. The team spends two weeks in New York and Washington D.C., interviewing people and discovering damning information never mentioned in the 9/11 Commission Report. The FBI becomes involved, the magazine's corporate investors threaten to kill the entire story, and Prokop is attacked by a lawsuit and the media in an effort to discredit his story. Why?

Because the official version as presented in the 9/11 Commission Report purposely ignored or omitted vital evidence and testimonies to protect people in the Bush administration. Prokop, plagued by the ghosts of his childhood in Russia and trying to uphold the independence of American journalism, struggles to come to grips with this awful truth. The film illustrates that, as so often is the case, the truth does not set you free; it ties your stomach and conscience into knots. It will remind you of All the President’s Men and JFK, films that also used drama to pursue political truths.

Once you watch it you too will feel strongly about it reaching a wide audience.

Warning: No matter what you know or think you know about 9/11, this movie will rattle your brain, make you think, and perhaps keep you up at night.

Hi Joel...

I can see that you are a clear thinker and quite a prolific writer, and I'm pleased that my commentary caught your eye. I guess my obsession shows, as hard as I try to hide it.

I've tried to view The Reflecting Pool in the customary way for a week or more now - you know, scarfing if offline - but I'm just going to order it. And I'll pass it around too, maybe arrange for a group viewing. Let the DVD pester them while I take a breather.

Thanks again and for God's sake, stay with it. Can you imagine Bush and/or Cheney taking an actual oath and going on the record?

Thanks for assembling lots of valuable aspects, Michael, but please keep on trucking as 911 truth is a process and I feel you may have bought some untrue aspects.

I am sure you don't like to think of yourself as a racist, but what if you have bought a racist mythology about 'Hijackers' - Muslim Arabs? Not a shred of proof that any were involved that day - NO CCTV OF 19 MEN AS THEY (DIDN'T) PASS THROUGH THREE AIRPORTS, come'on Michael, what are the odds of that happening just for starters?

No Arab names on Flight manifests; No possibility of mobile phone calls from commerical jets at that speed and height; obviously planted stories ('Let's roll') and PLANTED OBJECTS - Koran with Flight Manual and supposed will, supposed'hijacker passport found in streets of Manhattan, but no bits of aircraft that (didn't) hit the towers, except for two (wrong aircraft) wheels on separate sides of the towers discovered under tarpaulins under scaffolding both just next to Roman fasces statues ....

We know they lied about the WTC7 and twin towers, so why do you assume that they told you the truth about the bad Arabs, when they had such a huge track record of lying and such a huge motive to swing the outrage at these domestic terrorist murders for a new Crusade against Oil-land, as per 'attack on America' framing.

Elias Davidson's study of the No Evidence for Hijackers would be a good strarting point for starters - and then go visit your local mosque to apologise for being suckered yet again with the juicy bait of something which plays to our conditioned 'First world' predisposition to swallow blood libels against semites.

And if we don't knock this one on the head real fast it will run and run and cause as much damage as that other blood libel 2000 years ago ...

Sorry to be blunt, but no more quarter to the racist AMD story (Act of Mass Destruction), which is as full of holes as the now officially admitted false stories about Iraq and Iran having WMDs. (Anyway, the late Bin Laden always denied killing innocent people, 'not an appreciable act in Islam', and the Taliban always promised to hand him over if any prima facie evidence was produced. And if you think he is still alive, then so is JFK, I saw him in the Forest Gump movie!)

Let's get the troops home with the kind of 911 truth which strips out the juicy palatable racism, please!!!

You make a very compelling point, indeed. I believe that on each mention of an Arab involvement in the crime, I should have qualified it as 'alleged'. But in all fairness, from the outset, each time that I referred to the 'official version' of the events, I used a tongue in cheek absurdity and that would include the central feature - the alleged perpetrators.

To wit: "Yet a complete list of the nineteen alleged suicide hijackers, their photos and connections to al Quaeda and bin Laden was being broadcast by the mainstream bullhorn across the United States within hours - even though no Arab names were found on any passenger list of the hijacked flights.

End quote.

And the line that did not imply any Arab on any hijacked aircraft: "At least two separate FBI investigations of young, hostile Arab men training at flight schools were halted by their supervisors."

End quote.

The word "alleged" should have been applied to: "The chief hijacker, Mohammad Atta, received $100,000 in funding for the 911 operation."

And: "Decades-long ties between the Bush and Saudi royal families, even though 15 of the 19 hijackers were Saudi Arabian."

End quotes.

Both ststements have been appropriately revised, and thank you.

In the final analysis, I hope, being an obvious seeker of the truth, that you took particular note that I clealy mentioned that no Arab names were found on any of the passenger lists and that I refrred to no Arab pilots, weapons or tactics - alleged or otherwise.

Thanks sincerely for bringing my ommission to light. I too, have an insatiable appetite for the truth, regardless of it's smell. And in pursuit in our common cause, this one stinks to high heaven.
