Message Kathryn Smith

The higher-ups also know that our nation does not respond to intellectual coaching and does not read long dissertations. Instead, the art of the wordsmith is where it’s at. And that’s just what they have done, by feeding us the mantra “Kucinich will not win”.

Anybody who caws back like a parrot might be encouraged to do the research and think for themselves.

The fact that the polls say that Kucinich ranks low in the presidential race are obviously contrived for a purpose. If Kucinich has consistently been winning Democratic polls and been winning the endorsement of the Democrats on a state-wide basis, as with Virginia and a number of other states in the country, then surely he is not in the lower 2 percentile as claimed.

Polls can be and often are biased, just like the media.

Just as the media announces who won an election while some states are still voting, and sends out a resounding message to the effect of “you can go home now and give up voting”, so the polls are giving us a similar message. That's why polling prior to elections should be illegal. Maybe polls would serve an interesting statistical purpose after elections are over and done.

It’s time for us not to listen to the polls anymore and to vote for our conscience.

American freedom and quality of life hang in the balance. Due process of law and free speech are not a joke to lose. Kucinich is one of the very few whose spine and ethic we can absolutely count on to protect us from all those losses of civil liberties.

If we bemoan our American fate and feel discouraged and angry, who do we have to blame but ourselves if we don’t vote for someone who actually gives a damn?

The people have been crying loudly for a Candidate offering us spine and integrity, and Kucinich is that man. We demand impeachment, then Kucinich gives it to us. We want an ear: Kucinich listens. Yet we casually flick our wrists saying “Nah, he’ll never win, don’t even bother voting for him”.

Let’s not listen to the message “give up and go home now” or “vote for the lesser of evils” . That’s exactly what the higher-ups want. They want someone as President who supports their agendas, and will play every trick in the book to assure that happens. And make no mistake: The games they play, just like the rush to war with Iraq, are based on lies.

A prime example of how the media plays games to steal votes (and therefore probably tweaks the polls as one way to divert votes) may be seen in Victoria Collier’s article on Truthout, titled “A Brief History of Election Fraud in America”. www.truthout.com/docs_03/102503C.shtml

In this true story, Victoria Collier's uncle Ken Collier ran for public office and while watching the election results on TV, noticed that the numbers suddenly crashed. This didn’t make any sense. To make a long story short, he ended up wrestling with the computer programmer on the floor to obtain computer print-outs of the election, which indicated that the same exact winning figures were being announced for eight election years in a row. A statistical impossibility. The amazing thing is that all of the TV stations collaborated in the same announced lie: So-and-so had x number of votes, the other candidate had y as the figure, etc.
It just goes to say that the media is not to be trusted where elections are concerned.

That’s why some Candidates are announced as being in the lead from an early stage onward. That’s also why other candidates, like Kucinich, get the media black-out. The Media is picking our Candidates for us, not the people.

Kucinich has pointed out the obvious: It doesn’t take money to be elected. It takes votes.
Similarly, let us also assume that it does not take polling figures to be elected. It takes votes.

Vote your conscience in this primary election. And let’s remember: It’s only the Primaries. We can always sort out the lesser of two evils later on.

Please spread word. American freedom hangs in the balance: This is not a joke. Thank you.
