Corporate entertainment news media fears and blocks knowledge of '67-68 MLK Jr., the strong political leader boldly denouncing U.S. overseas crimes and instead carefully limits King, to have been the great and peaceful civil rights leader.

One can even consider that giving King a public holiday in his name, once assassinated and unable to speak out no more, has had the effect of getting the memory of Dr. King off and out of the streets he once marched in, and 'pushing his memory upstairs', allowing the very same establishment King died fighting against to claim King as a compliant American hero of its very own value system.
