5) Bill Clinton steals Hillary's limelight – Telegraph.co.uk

"What I heard … was an articulate vision for where this country ought to go," he said. "What I saw … was an articulate set of policy proposals....”

Is the above more Billary Race Area Code? No. This was a quote from an Obama supporter in Amherst, New Hampshire. Here is the full quote:
“Scott Rabiet, 45, a museum exhibits designer, had seen Mr. Obama before the Bill Clinton event day and had been struck by the contrast. ‘What I heard at the Obama event was an articulate vision for where this country ought to go,’ he said. ‘What I saw here was an articulate set of policy proposals....Obama does it for me. Hillary makes a great senator.’"

Meanwhile, back in the Colonies, let’s look at an indigenous type who should know better:

6) Alex Beam article Boston.com Dec. 17 2007

“Right now, Michelle Obama is the best in the business. Smart, accomplished, articulate, and capable of projecting empathy, she moves the Obama campaign forward with every appearance.”

Aha! We all know what’s going on here… cue sirens, cue flashing red light. Wait. Kill the sirens, douse the flashing light. Turns out Beam’s article, Diagnosis: Clinton Fatigue was picked up and displayed prominently on an expensive-looking web site entitled “The Hillary Project: Reporting the news about Hillary Clinton that the media refuses [sic] to.”

Forget the questionable grammar and the dangling infinitive. What this Hillary-hating site was loving were the Beamisms directed at Bill. He makes clear that his beef is not with her. God forbid:

“I'm not talking about Mrs. Clinton, Hillary Clinton, [Beam’s link – try it!] Senator Clinton, Hillary Rodham, or whatever she is choosing to call herself for this news cycle. She's no different from every intelligent, overachieving, soulless corporate lawyer I've ever known. She's far from boring, and as unprincipled as she needs to be…”

And on Bill:

“…The peccadilloes, the double-dealing, the outright lying… There he goes again. The gay deceiver [!], the sentence-parser, the guy who always says one thing and means another. Go away!...”
We must now consider whether Mr. Rabiet, 45, New Hampshire museum exhibits designer, should be issued a timeout by his fellow Obamanauts and be allowed back only when he learns to play nicely with others. Much as I myself am on a timeout issued by the same group because I recently switched my support from Hillary to Obama, but I made the mistake of listing “wanting to see a black, American President” as one of my reasons. Grrr. Will I ever get my mind right, Boss??

Meanwhile, Mr. Russert, I expect you, at least to get your mind right. Small things matter. They snowball into large things – as we have seen. Do what you demand of those you grill on your infamous hot seat. Use your words. Look at them. A brief correction and apology will suffice.

It’s what I make my kids do.
