HAMLET

GERTRUDE

HAMLET
(turning to Ophelia)
Good mother, I think I'd rather lie in this lady's lap. (To
Ophelia) Shall I?
OPHELIA
Oh no, my lord.
HAMLET
I mean, my head upon your lap.
OPHELIA
Yes, my lord.
HAMLET
Did you think I meant something else?
OPHELIA
I didn't think anything, my lord.
