Many of my readers have asked me if I still have faith in where we are going , as a country, partcularly in light of an obvious Bush/Cheney plan for a permanent U.S. military and economic domination of every region on the globe as well
as a philosophy that " the best defense is a pre-emptive good offense . "

Let me make it emphatically clear that the natural state of man is not war ( as Dick Cheney says ) ~ the natural state of man is social cooperation, community and altruism and we avoid it at our evolutionary peril .

We are now in the midst of an enormous transformation of consciousness on our planet .

A giant shift from the darkness of ego consciousness ~ might makes right, control versus empowerment, greed versus service , separateness versus community, and corporate ownership and power at any price ~ to a place of light and soul consciousness where social cooperation, community and altruism replace separateness and survival of the fittest.

This dark ego consciousness must come to the surface , like an infected boil , before it can be lanced by the truth and light of soul consciousness ~ where we surrender to our diversity and commonality and our innate life enhancing propensity to unite and cooperate with one another.

This is a painful and stressful transition for we are forced to see the reality of the consciousness we have created ~ because of our fear, greed and false values.

There is no way this shift can be avoided ~ because our destiny is divine and although the transistion may be painful ~ ourselves and all nations will eventually unite in a common state of altruism and social cooperation ~ regardless of how separated we are now.

Indeed, some say that human cooperation may have evolved out of a penchant for frequent warfare as a recent article in Scientific American Love Thy Neighbor Evolved Out of Vicious Competition theorized on December 7th, 2006.

But I'm convinced that the need to unite and cooperate is innate and not learned.

Scientific American wrote of this innate evolutionary urge to cooperate in its June 1995 article THE ARITHMETICS OF MUTUAL HELP, by Martin Nowak, Robert May and Karl Sigmund;

" Computer experiments show how cooperation rather than exploitation can dominate in the Darwinian struggle for survival.. In the course of evolution, there appears to have been ample opportunity for cooperation to have assisted everything from molecules to humans. In a sense, cooperation could be older than life itself. "

And indeed it is ~ and what else but love could be older than life itself.

So I decided to explain in this newsletter why we cannot escape our destiny and why it is divine.

And it begins with the premise that what is deepest
within us is love, Joy and a state of soul
consciousness ~ which reveals itself collectively
as a universal urge to unite.

The basic underlying and uniting force of the Universe is a psychic energy field of love and soul consciousness ( the Unified Field ) which lies not only beyond time and space but also beneath our deepest fears. It's principle property is the urge to unite which underlies not only the quantum world of the atom but ALSO the physical world of planets, galaxies and gravity ~ which is a condition of state within this field.

I wrote this in 1979 and proved it's existence as the Unified Field and the one constant of the Universe ~ through my own personal experience of it in 1987.

For the past 19 years I have demonstrated its validity through my work as a psychotherapist ~ where my clients have gone beyond their pain and fears to a place of joy, love and soul consciousness ~ and done it in only seven
sessions ~ for they have, in essence, been healing themselves by surrendering to love.

My PhD dissertation ,THE UNIFIED FIELD, was presented in 1998 and was subsequently published in 2000 under the title of RADICAL THERAPY / SURRENDER TO LOVE AND HEAL YOURSELF IN SEVEN SESSIONS ( NOT SEVEN YEARS Origin Press .

My dissertation was ranked by Common Boundary and The Noetic Science Institute, in their National Dissertation Contest , as one of the top four dissertations that best combined spirituality and psychology.

The driving force of my Unified Field Theory is THE URGE TO UNITE which effects all matter from Galaxies to human beings and even molecules and sub atomic particles.
In my book ( which is my dissertation with the seven sessions added ) I demonstrate how Einstein actually found this ultimate attractive force of the universe when he discovered that photons ( light particles ) have this tendency to travel
together ( even in a frictionless environment ) but his consciousness kept him from grasping that all matter is subject to this same universal urge to unite.

Einstein died still looking for the Unified Field not realizing he had already found it ~ which is why he is one of the giants I dedicate my book and work to ~ along with Carl Jung and Teilhard de Chardin.

Jung because the " collective Unconscious " is actually a state of soul consciousness and " synchronicity " is really a loving plan in action.

But it was Teilhard who wrote ~ " Love alone is capable of uniting living beings in such a way as to complete and fulfill them for it alone takes them and joins them to what is deepest within themselves."

And it was Teilhard who also wrote ~ " If there were no real propensity to unite , even at a prodigiously rudimentary level , indeed, even in the molecule itself ~ it would be physically impossible for love to appear higher up in the ' hominized ' or human form."

It is this UNIVERSAL URGE TO UNITE that effects each one of us and our lifetime quest to find not only ourself but our own authentic vocation in this slowly evolving loving plan.

Teilhard defines this innate urge to unite as an energy force in his famous LAW OF COMPLEXITY-CONSCIOUSNESS . The law states two principles;

1." Throughout all time there has been an evolutionary tendency for all matter to unite and become increasingly complex in nature."

2." With each increase in material complexity, there is a related rise in the consciousness of matter and an even greater urge to unite."


It is this radial enegy in matter , this deep urge towards union and completion, which eventually manifiests itself as love .

As such , we human beings are the end result of a long evolutionary process of love with an ingrained and innate urge to unite and cooperate with each other.

Our love relationships are, in essence, steps toward
fully opening our hearts and finally fully claiming ourselves ~ and our authentic part in a loving plan.

There are now close to seven billion people on this planet and all of us are subject to this same attractive force, this same urge to cooperate with each other, this same urge towards union and completion.

As such, Teilhard's NOOSPHERE ( Where all minds are joined by common knowledge which is rapidly becoming a reality via the Internet ) is really a prelude to Roland's SOULOSPHERE where all hearts unite in a common awakening to soul consciousness.

Asymptotic Freedom, the quantum strong force urge to unite, aka the Unified Field , not only exists within the world of the atom but also exists in galactic space as dark matter, keeping the galaxies in place, thus uniting the quantum world of the atom with the physical world of gravity, planets and galaxies ~ which is the one qualification for a theory of everything or a true Unified field.

And what consciousness limits us from experiencing and perceiving this state of soul consciousness , this innate urge to unite ?

Ego consciousness or the need to separate versus unite , hate versus love , resist versus cooperate , control versus empower ~ and blame versus take responsibility .

And yes , the Bush administration is a mirror of this state of ego consciousness which , unfortunately , is also a mirror of many of our own collective individual values.

To go forward we must go back and reintegrate with the original collective values of both ourselves and our great nation.

Have we forgotten the words of Thomas Paine ?

" Never had a country so many openings to happiness
as this.
Her setting out in life, like the rising of a fair morning, was unclouded and promising.
Her cause was good.
Her principles just and liberal.
Her temper serene and firm.
Her conduct regulated by the nicest steps ~ and everything about her wore the mark of honor.
It is not every country that can boast so fair an
origin."

We, as a nation, are at a watershed moment ~ where we must make a decision now on the future direction and values of our country .

In a deeper sense ~ it is a choice of consciousness. And it must start by immediately refusing to fund this illegal war and occupation of Iraq.

And just what would happen today ~ with the acceptance of this Unified Field of love and soul consciousness ?

Quite simply , Brian Greene's Elegant Universe of vibrating strings , would assume a soul and become an intentioned and equally elegant Universe whose driving force is the urge to unite and love.

Stephen Hawking, like his predecessor Einstein, also sought a simple explanation for the elusive Unified Field ;

" What is it that breaths fire into the equations and makes a Universe for them to govern ? "

Hawking also wrote that " there ought to be something special and simple about a grand theory of everything . "

And what could be more special and simple than love ?

A Unified Field that effects the galaxies as well as molecules and reveals a universe of heart strings which exist beyond time and space and unite us all in a Universal state of love and soul
consciousness.

Einstein would be proven right ~ for indeed, God does not play dice within a constantly evolving loving plan.

And Heisenberg's " Law Of Uncertainty " ( the rationale for Quantum physics ) would be proven wrong ~ for within the seeming haphazard randomness of the sub atomic world is the same intention, purpose and urge to unite that pulses
deepest within ourselves as human beings.

Lincoln Barnett writes of the triumph of such a discovery ~

" The great philosophical triumph of any Unified Field is impliciit in the first word of its title .
It will carry to logical fulfillment the long course of science towards the unification of man's concepts of the physical world.
For from its august perspective , the entire universe would appear as one elemental field in which each atom, each flying electron, each star, each wandering comet and slow -wheeling galaxy is seen to be but a ripple or tumescence in the underlying space-time unity.
And so a profound simplicity would supplant the surface complexity of nature .
Thus all man's perceptions of the world and all his abstract intuitions of reality would merge finally into
one, and the deep underlying unity of the universe would be laid bare."

Let me once again state that the deep underlying and uniting force of the Universe is a psychic energy field of love and soul consciousness ( the Unified Field ) ~ which lies not only beyond time and space but also beneath our deepest fears. It's principle property is the urge to unite which underlies not only the quantum world of the atom but ALSO the physical world of planets, galaxies and gravity ~ which is a condition of state within this field.

As each one of us takes responsibility for this urge to unite versus separate, to cooperate versus manipulate, to negotiate versus destroy ~ our leaders will be forced to do the same .

We must not forget the words of Benjamin Franklin ~

" Wise and good men are, in my opinion, the strength of the state ~ much more so than riches and arms."

As we move into 2007, let us not settle for
anything less than wise and good men and women who will lead us towards a world of peace, altruism and social cooperation .

The future of our country depends on this ~ for we cannot escape our destiny and it is divine.
