Consider Colonial Britain and France, dedicated to conquering the northern hemisphere of the western worldin its day. Britain never followed the teachings of the Christ, but used those teachings to justify, without accountability, their Roman warring with native Americans. Jefferson had no choice but to walk away.
Consider Capitalistic America, dedicated to fiscal dominion of the global economy in our day. We do not follow the teachings of the Christ, but we use those teachings to justify, without accountability, our preemptive Roman warring on the world stage. We have no choice but to walk away.
Do you see a pattern here, because there is clearly a pattern to be seen, and one wonders why the neocon right wing is so concerned about President Obama's religion, since they choose to never honor Christian values with any Christian behavior themselves. Allegiance to Roman religion is an exercise in hypocrisy.
The political right wing ignores Christian compassion and empathy entirely, preferring Roman vengeance and immoral war. It has been this way for nearly two millennia. The neocon's grasp of the nascent Christian mindset upon which Jefferson built this democracy is nonexistent, they are uniformly a bunch of fake christians and fraudulent Americans, and the Tea Party is mindless, idealess, and operationally criminal (5).
Wake up America. The political right wing is taking you on their prophetic journey to their 'end of times'. Relax and let them do it. It will give you the first chance in human history to reclaim the authority which is rightfully yours alone.
