We are seeing the reeking, rancid residue of the Republican party, condensed and refined down to its degenerate core. They refuse to accept the fact that the eight years of the Bush regime showed just how degenerate pure Republicanism is and were soundly defeated and removed from government control. They still can not and will not believe it. As we have seen, they have grown more ideological, more hysterical, concentrating on the use of hypocrisy, distortion and lies to try to smear the liberal, Democratic administration that was voted in by a large majority.

They shout that they want their country back. From whom? From Barak Obama? This, coming from white people, implies that the first black president has stolen their country from them. Actually, Obama was handed the Presidency by a majority of more than eight and a half million voters over the votes for his Republican rival. But, in spite of this being a perfect example of the democratic process, the law of the land according to the Constitution, the Republicans will never accept it.

What to do about our problem with the dregs, the flotsam and jetsam of the Republican party who receive a disproportionate amount of attention from the news media? The one thing that infuriates and enrages them is the use of reason, logic, fact and truth against their wild, untrue claims and untenable positions. That really upsets them and sets them off with even more hysterical claims. They would be laughable if they weren't so dangerous.

Remember that a lot of the people who voted for Obama are the same people who voted for George Bush in 2004. They are easily swayed by the fear and smear tactics of the defeated Republicans. That's why their barbarism is so very dangerous.

So, the thing to do is to just keep up the pressure on them with the bare facts and the truth. This will continue, as it does now, to bring out the worst in them.

There's an analogy in chemistry to the Republicans in the distillation of urine. When urine is distilled down to its essence, you wind up with phosphorous. Phosphorous is highly flammable and when ignited completely destroys itself. Nothing left, no residue. We need to keep distilling the Republicans in the retort of truth until, flash, and there's nothing left.
