The Battle of Zucotti Park

Hot food,sandwiches,water,

And smiles, lots of smiles.

And brother and sisterhood;

Illicit tobacco being smoked, no weed

Wafting through the crowd.

We were told there was a

Meeting uptown in Washington Square.

We made the pilgrimage,

Swimming upstream

With the typical New York

Shoppers and tourists;

Weaving in and out of the

Crowded streets.

By the time we got to Washington Square,

We were tired.

Met by cops on horseback;
