Where will we go? Where is there room for us?

The second question can be answered first. The answer is nowhere. There isn't any room for one more human being on this earth. But that horse has already left the barn.

Where ever it is we decide to go, we will ask those who already inhabit the land for permission to share their land with them. We will not force ourselves upon lands owned by others. We will have to "sell" ourselves, quite a turn around.

In some cases, it will be difficult. There are other so called first world nations who are doing just fine without us, thank you. If some of those nations take some of us in, we can only be grateful and help as much as possible.

We may ask some so called third world nations for permission to live side by side with them in their land. "Selling" ourselves may be easier in these cases.

We have been educated, albeit in too many cases through propaganda. Nonetheless, many of us have scientific knowledge, medical knowledge, agricultural knowledge, mathematical knowledge and even military knowledge.

By the nature of who we are and who we wanted to be while in the US, we know how to use the knowledge in ways that won't rape the land or pollute the air. We can help cure disease without making the indigenous people our serfs. In fact, we will be in a position to hope that they don't attempt to do that to us.

We can build schools and universities so that, ultimately, we all who live in whatever land we live in can become equals. We can teach tolerance of cultural differences, always keeping in mind that the culture we join is the culture of the land. We now know that it is not up to us to change their culture, but up to them to be tolerant enough to accept ours.

If the people of the land accept us and are in the process of forming a true democracy, we can help with ideas. We will have to realize, however, that the ideas that are ultimately realized are the ideas that they, the people who have always been there or have at least been there longer than we have, are the ideas that should rightly take hold. We can only hope that they allow open and mature debate and accept some of our ideas. In other words, we may have a chance to do it right this time.

One last thought on military knowledge. Our knowledge of military defense will be necessary only because I fear that the nation we leave behind will attempt to invade where ever it is we go. We can only hope that any effort we put into a military defense will be for just that, defense. Idealistically, the nation we leave behind will leave us alone. However, if that is the kind of nation we leave behind, we'd probably not be leaving it in the first place.

What I've written in this short article is simplistic. I realize, however, that whichever way it would work would be much more complicated that I've made it seem.

Just the same, we are not welcomed here. We've never been welcomed here. Let's plan to leave this place whose government is nothing more and nothing less than a conglomerate of corporate greed heads. We will never defeat them. However, if we emigrate, they will ultimately be defeated and I submit their defeat will be at their own hands.
