I am not here contending that Arizona Senator and presumptive Republican candidate for President of the United States John McCain is a liar. But as to delusional, not being able to exquisitely distinguish between what is whole truth and nothing but the truth, and not being able to grasp why Americans might legitimately wonder whether he is being as forthright as he insists, and where any of that might lead the country, and the world . . . It’s all way, way too much déjà vu all over again for me. (For a 2-minute video of some of the senator's dances down an imaginary flower path that is contrasted starkly with his pseudo other self trekking in some parallel universe, click http://therealmccain.com/ ) Like W said, “Fool me once, shame on — shame on you. Fool me — you can’t get fooled again.” Well, the truth is, we did get fooled again. And again. And again. And I’m no longer willing to sit through the sequel. — Ed Tubbs Palm Springs, CA
