"D'après les dirigeants de dix-neuf Etats, plus l'Union Européenne, l'actuel système économique et social n'aurait rien à se reprocher. Le seul problème étant de « soutenir l'économie mondiale » et de « stabiliser les marchés financiers ». Une seule réforme en vue : celle des  « systèmes financiers ». L'économie de marché n'est pas en cause, les délocalisations et le dumping social ne sont même pas évoqués, les « règles de l'OMC » (Organisation Mondiale du Commerce) sont jugées bonnes... En somme, les populations n'auront qu'à payer les pots cassés de la crise."
