This word is not evolved. It is used even today among the Airyanem Vaejah people. It means "It is a revolt now." ("Aha" means "now," and "shverosh" means revolution or revolt). It was the word used to trigger the attack.

The Semitic Babylon calls Ahasuerus in their language instead of the Ahashverosh in Airyanem Vaejah language. Emperor Cyaxares was nicknamed Ahashverosh or Ahasuerus and so is his son Emperor Astyages (Ahasuerus).
In Daniel 9:1, Ahasuerus is said to be the father of Darius the Mede.
Darius the Mede was the son of Emperor Astyages (known as Ahasuerus too) of the Median Empire, he was later known as Emperor Cyaxares II of Median Empire.
