Theism is a philosophy that is specific to an organized religious organization. Thus, a-theism in its true definition doesn't mean that one denies the intelligence of Nature. What it does speak to is a sense of going beyond the ideals (ideas, theories or theisms). By going beyond the ideals, we can move into an acceptance of all.

I am, we are, Sophia's play. If you don't like the name, fine. Use Nature. She and I are actors, actresses, hair-dressers, costume makers etc for the whole shebang. Hindus call this Lila, meaning play. Likewise, the Bible's "Book of Hagia Sophia" (taken out of some Biblical editions) states She is at play everywhere. This means your life.

The process or way of Nature does not give a hoot if you believe in a Goddess or God. In my opinion, there is no hell if you don't pay into the collection plate of whatever spiritual outlet you choose. However, there may be natural consequences to the behaviors we are engaged in that lead to global warming, a sense of alienation, etc. We also may put ourselves into a heavenly or hellish state after death due to our deepest outlooks on the world. Heaven and hell are ultimately dream states and our dream states mirror our lives and mindsets.

Yes, the republicans, democrats and corporations are my biggest nightmare as is western civilization in general. So, lets end the dream!

In some religions such as Buddhism this dream state is to be transcended. This is what Nirvana is. It is going into the state that Christian mystic Meister Eckhart referred to as the place that existed "when you were not"

In the world of physics, this is the realm that David Bohm referred to as the Unmanifest Implicate Order. Interestingly, at the time of Bohm, a neurologist by the name of Karl Pribram was saying the same thing about the workings of the brain.

Is this a coincidence or is it a reflection of our living in a uni-verse?

Here is where religion in its epistemological roots, to bind together, can be of benefit. If one gets away from the theologies and belief systems and go into the connectedness of yourself to your loved ones, the land upon which you live, the planet and even the universe, then you can feel whole.
