This Aries New Moon, traveling along with Mars, Uranus, Jupiter and Mercury in Aries, is a particularly potent time with this dynamic mix of energies to find the deeper archetypal pattern -- the DNA - of your soul.   Mars and Uranus team up to blast you away from your past and into a sense of adventure.   Jupiter opens you to big possibilities while Mercury has just stopped to go back and make sure it's got the plans right.   When you know what the energies are doing, you can name what's going on inside yourself and work with the energies, rather than having the energies work you over.

One way to do this is to look at a bigger story and let it be the mirror of who you want to be.   Aries is always on the lookout for a new story -- until he finds the right one.   Finding our unique identity is Aries' prime directive.

Aries are the pioneers of the zodiac.   With so much cosmic energy concentrated right now in Aries, this new Moon is the time to invoke this pioneering spirit and journey to the outer reaches of your possibilities.   It is time to become the New You!

There is great beauty and cosmic justice at work here, because all that Aries' exuberance, daring, anger, assertiveness and courage is forced to balance its self-interest with Saturn in Libra's sense of justice and fairness and the value of partnership.   As Rumi sees it "We move to the center of the fighting, this circle of bewildered lovers."

We can use our Aries warrior spirit to "move to the center of the fighting' for those "bewildered lovers' and put a stop to the fighting by measuring our words (Mercury is retrograde in Aries as of March 30th -- putting a hold on its usual sharp-witted tongue), sharpening our vision (Uranus and Jupiter in Aries give us big surprising visions while Saturn in Libra gets us to hone them and share them), and sharing in community (Neptune in Aquarius).

With the 3rd and final passage of the Jupiter in Aries opposition to Saturn in Libra just this week, we are seeing people finally waking up to their own power and demanding justice and fairness for themselves and others. (Of course, with the tense energy between Uranus, Jupiter, Pluto and Saturn, there's also war and anger on the other hand.)   Both Jupiter and Saturn continue to make a wide square (a challenge) to Pluto's continuing campaign to dig up the dirt of gross mismanagement of the planet's and people's resources.   Since we're the ones who see this decay, we have to be the ones who help others see it so we can all change it.

It's time to "ride in on our horse of green air' and bring healing to our communities and our world.   The only way we'll change things is if we become our Greater Selves and offer ourselves -- our ideas, our ingenuity, our time, our compassion, our expertise, our vision -- to our communities.

Neptune is on the very last degree of Aquarius on this new Moon and will be moving into its own sign of Pisces the next day on April 4th.   Neptune is all about Vision and Imagination, and while Neptune was in Aquarius, its energy dissolved the old world-view of separatism and inspired the world to understand that we are all one Being, here on our one Earth.   Venus in Pisces adds compassion, artistry and more imagination to the mix.   Unite the head and heart.
