Buddhism is a way of life based on the training of the mind. Its one ultimate aim is to show the way to complete liberation from suffering by the attainment of the Unconditioned, a state beyond the range of the normal untrained mind. Its immediate aim is to strike at the roots of suffering in everyday life.

It is when we let go to our conditioning that we are most open to change. At this point, forget about me and this writing. Just open up to the evolutionary potentials within yourself. Both the historical Jesus and Lao Tzu are only pointers to the depths of who you and this universe are.

Various people have their own way of getting to this. Some go into deep meditation. Some follow a guru for teachings on how to open to the deeper reality. However, I would say that in the end analysis, you must go deep within yourself and tap into the depths of silence. Teachers are only there to point the way. Having a teacher is akin to listening to someone talk about the Ocean. However, you must ultimately dive into the Ocean. Thus, the journey, teacher and dive, is all yours and yours alone. You may make some wrong turns, as I have. And, you will struggle, as I do. But you keep coming back. Interestingly, I have never been able to subscribe to a particular religion or philosophy. Labeling myself as anything is limiting. Ultimately, my message is that what you need to listen to is your deepest intuitions. These are your truest guides, the ones you can trust.

Yet, there are external agencies that are here to assist you on your task. For example, Amara Tia Ann launched Aleph Center of Accelerated Spiritual Transformation (ACAST) in February 2012 in Singapore to provide a learning space for all who seek to embrace, express and expand their divinity. Through ACAST, Ann brings forth the golden opportunity to reconnect with the source energy of pure potentiality or the Aleph in us, so we may redefine our purpose and choices.

The terms "pure potentiality" are the key. Inside all of us there is an infinity of possibilities. As I think about this, I think of birds. At some point in their evolution, birds did not fly. Indeed, some scientists say that birds are in essence morphed dinosaurs. Interesting idea! The point is that within the dinosaur was the potential of becoming a bird. Thus the question I'm asking the reader to engage in is what potential is within her or him? Could we too grow wings and fly. Perhaps we will be like Angels?

It is interesting in this regard that in the "Gospel of Thomas," Jesus Chrsit says:

If you bring forth that which is within you, then that which is within you will save you. If you do not bring forth that which is within you, then that which is within you will kill you.

Interesting that Thomas did not make it in the main cannon of the Christian Bible. (Though many Catholic mystics in the 12 and 1300's were very familiar with this text). Was there a political motive to not have the book in the main text because in it Christ teaches the way is within? Would this have put a big damper on the Church collection plates and ability to have political clout? Of course there is the scene in the book where Christ kisses the Beloved Mary Magdeline on the mouth.

Either way, the question is: "Would we be the sleeping sheep of modern day?" had the Gospel of Thomas been allowed. Are we today dying because we refuse to bring forth what is within us, and instead rely on external authorities? I ask again, "who has the right to author our lives?"

Amara Tia Ann's practice overall helps people to awaken and unfold the potential inherent in themselves. In her interview with Envision This! Ann called on guides in helping her to answer questions. During the interview, I was thus confronted with a question, "who are these guides...other beings living in other dimensions, or other dimensions of ourselves?" The option of a third interpretation also exists: We all, including Ann, draw upon the wisdom of the collective unconscious and ascribe/name the source of our insights according to our cultural and educational heritage.

As my wife Merry often says, the answer is "yes." The point is we are all infinite in our depths. This can even be proved mathematically. One source you may wish to visit regarding the infinite ratio of "phi" (1.618....), which in Greek served as the middle letter for the name of Wisdom as Sophi a. It is a ratio that exists in you and me. The Greek letter for phi is the feminine circle with a male I intersecting. Ã"° ¸ To learn more visit: (http://www.goldennumber.net/human-hand-foot).

The question is, "how can the infinite exist side-by-side with the infinite?" Is this the ultimate illusion that the Hindu concept of Maya entails? If I am infinite and you are infinite, do we truly exist side-by-side? Lots to think about! Perhaps we truly are at some level beyond time and space? Perhaps, to say we are all "One" is both metaphorically and literally true.

Amara Tia Ann uses guides to help facilitate what she is communicating to others. As such, her words are food for thought. While she easily goes in and out of conversation with her guides, my learning has come about through dreams and intuitions coupled with research to understand what I was going through. Listening to her work with guides, I find myself weaving what I have learned with what she teaches. Weaving is the key. Divisiveness and either-or thinking is one major driver to what has locked us into a destructive pattern. Weaving the holographic web, where each notch or point in the web mirrors all others, is the purpose to my part in this lifetime. If I have helped you to hold in balance the holographic "both/and" of the part containing the whole and the whole containing the part, then I am achieving my life mission.
