The Iranians know this better than anybody. Their leaders' rhetoric prompted Hillary Clinton to utter the word "annihilation" in their direction. Their leaders persuaded their proxies to explode 8000 missiles on Israel and to attack her twice in three years. At the behest of Iran, Hamas has also put its people into harm's way big time.
The violent suppression in Iran has prompted Turkey, Egypt and Saudi Arabia to start nuclear programs for self-preservation. They know better than to trust their lives to US assurances.

The Israeli peace proposal is on the table. It calls for the disarmament of Palestine. If the people want to live in peace and prosperity, they will force Hamas to sign it. Another attack will open the door for Israel to take out Iran's nuclear facilities with conventional weapons. I emphasize this because Israelis are not Americans.

With the Pentagon, Israel claims that 44 Jericho missiles can fly from Georgia and Saudi Arabia to do the job. Any response from Iran would be a big mistake.

This Highlights the Need for Analysis

If Israel does nothing, Iran has 11,000 conventional missiles she can ship to her launching pads in Gaza and Lebanon. A preemptive attack could kill thousands of Israelis.

If Israel destroys Iran's nuclear facility with conventional weapons, a prudent Iranian regime would sit on its hands. A heavy response would provoke a nuclear strike from Israel.

There is little doubt the Iran regime has sufficient Chinese missiles to sink the US Navy vessels in the region. It also has 2600 tanks to decimate the US garrison in Iraq. However, it could not escape annihilation by the US Stealth bombers.

The Sunni Arab nations are responding in their self-interest. Like Israel, they do not want Iran to dominate the region.
