All this rigamaroll is a tragic comical mockery of democracy, which,
as American hero and former U.S. Marine and United Nations UNCSOM Iraq weapons inspector Scott Ritter points out,
many neocons in this country consider just an experiment
http://www.octanecreative.com/reinform/neocons.html .
All this bullshed is nothing more than the dramatization of Roman sentorial folly concocted purely for the amusement of top 2% of the world's powerful.
This the the class of people American Sociologist C. Wright Mills calls "the power elite."
The power elite is a term also used by American hero and Stanford University Psychologist Philip Zimbardo in his book, The Lucifer Effect.
http://www.lucifereffect.com/
As stated on Professor Zimbardo's website,
Chapter 16 of The Lucifer Effect describes how the Abu Ghraib abuses were shaped by systemic forces as well as situational conditions. Four United States leaders approved of the policies on which the abuse and torture were based: George Tenet, Donald Rumsfeld, Dick Cheney, and George W. Bush. The charges for each leader are taken from public documents and analyses by Human Rights Watch (for a fuller treatment, see Chapter 16).
This scheme of "no shame, no blame" is a Rumsfeldian "self-licking ice cream cone" for this class of people. (See Richard A. Clarke, The Scorpion's Gate for more on the expression, a "self-licking ice cream cone.")
Are you among the power elite? If you are, I hope you are amused.
If you are not among the power elite, you are fooling yourself.
Get with the program.
Oh, and, yes, you are also being fooled.
This is George W. Bush's governemnt, but only as long as he conforms to Site R.
