Readiness Exercise 1984 - Rex 84

Rex 84 is a United States federal government program to test their ability to detain large numbers of American citizens. Exercises similar to Rex 84 happen periodically. From 1967 to 1971 the FBI kept a list of persons to be rounded up as subversive, dubbed the “ADEX” list.

Texas Congressman Henry Gonzales revealed many years ago plans of Rex 84 which former colonel Ollie North helped design. The late Representative Jack Brooks also of Texas brought this concentration camp and internment program as well as the Continuity of Government Program to light during the Iran Contra hearing. The chairman refused to let North even talk about them in open hearings under “National Security.” Mr. Gonzales stated these camps and plans were for the detention of AMERICANS, especially those who refused to surrender their weapons.

The Rex-84 Alpha Explan (Readiness Exercise 1984, Exercise Plan), indicates that FEMA in association with 34 other federal civil departments and agencies conducted a civil readiness exercise during April 5-13, 1984. It was conducted in coordination and simultaneously with a Joint Chiefs exercise, Night Train 84, a worldwide military command post exercise (including Continental U.S. Forces or CONUS) based on multi-emergency scenarios operating both abroad and at home. In the combined exercise, Rex-84 Bravo, FEMA and DOD led the other federal agencies and departments, including the Central Intelligence Agency, the Secret Service, the Treasury, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the Veterans Administration through a gaming exercise to test military assistance in civil defense.

I stated that I believed we are in the final stages of this plan based on the success of “Operation Falcon” and being aware the final readiness test is due soon in the western United States; further, just today, I noted that DHS is finalizing plans to use spy satellites on the American public:

A plan to dramatically widen US law enforcement agencies’ access to data from powerful spy satellites is moving toward implementation, as Department of Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff expects to finalize a charter for the program this week, according to a new report.

Chertoff insists the scheme to turn spy satellites — that were originally designed for foreign surveillance — on Americans is legal, although a House committee that would approve the program has not been updated on the program for three months.

“We still haven’t seen the legal framework we requested or the standard operation procedures on how the NAO will actually be run,” House Homeland Security Chairman Bennie G. Thompson tells the Wall Street Journal. Thompson was referring to the National Applications Office — a new DHS subset that would coordinate access to spy-satellite data for non-military domestic agencies, including law enforcement.

Civil liberties concerns delayed the program after lawmakers and outside activists wondered how the program would be structured to protect Americans from unconstitutional surveillance from the powerful satellites, which can see through cloud cover, trees and even concrete buildings. MORE

I don’t have a lot of commentary to offer on this issue, but it’s obvious that KBR and Halliburton would make hundreds of millions of dollars, if not billions operating these so-called “detention facilities if they were filled to capacity by the plethora of services they would have to offer, i.e., meals, medical attention (if that’s included), extra security guards, and a host of cottage industries that would spring-up to supplement the imprisonment of hundreds of thousands, if not millions of American citizens whose only crime was to demand that Bush and Cheney adhere to our constitution and the rule of law.

I can't believe my eyes.

Honestly, I can believe my eyes. I had a post linked to my site that shows thousands and thousands of these coffins in Georgia too; I posted some of the photos and also provided a link to the site with the photos. There were told they were there in case of a biological attack. There are also some photos taken by Google Easth that haven't been blacked-out yet.

This appears to be nationwide based on the info I'm receiving, and as a people, if we want to survive, it's time for everyone to pick up the phones and call Washington until we have some answers.

Gun control

I remember a while back that there was some sort of pending legislation regarding not allowing people with mental disorders to own guns. My hubby was in a serious motorcycle accident years ago, and his entire arm had to be reconstructed, along with his foot. He is in pain constantly, and has arthritis. He does not like taking prescription drugs, and gets by with aspirin. When he finally went to the doctor to get something for the pain, he was offered an anti-depressant, nothing else. An anti-depressant for arthritis pain? What a crock!

I had a problem a few years ago with sexual harassment when I worked at a hospital. I was sent to a psychiatrist for evaluation. He asked me if my job made me anxious. I responded that the harassment I was receiving made me anxious. He then prescribed anti-depressants! I refused and the hospital rejected my case. It is my opinion that the doctors have a mandate to get as many people on anti-depressants as possible in order to take their guns away. Is this just paranoia? I don’t think so.

In the last two weeks, I was listening to Tom Hartmann. His comment was quite rational, and that was that he had read 1955, the House version, and he hadn't seen anything dangerous in it, or words to that effect. Then he discussed it with some attorney friends who informed him that the language in 1955, and 1959, combined with some of the other legislation that was passed is actually quite dangerous.

Thank you, Mr. Cormier, for having the courage to speak truth to power on this issue. What you describe in your article is something that I have been afraid of for some time. I happen to crochet. I know that sometimes stitches, taken individually, mean nothing. Put together, however, they form a pattern, and eventually an entire project. One does not need to be a conspiracy nut on this matter. Simply pull up Bush's Ex. Orders, his signing statements, and the legislation that he has pushed through Congress, now and in the past.

Individually they mean nothing. Together they form a pattern, and the pattern in its entirety appears to be a potential takeover of our government by the same fascist-leaning power hungry capitalists that have been working on this since FDR's time. I doubt very much that we will have an election in 2008, and if we do, and Democrats win everything, there will be another 9/11 of some sort, and there goes what has been a beacon to all the world. It's light will go out.

How a Single Passage Can Undermine an Entire Report

Reading this report was very interesting -- until I came across the following passage:

"Shortly after Bush orchestrated 9/11, he issued “Military Order Number One”, which empowered him to detain any noncitizen as an international terrorist or enemy combatant. Today that order extends to U.S. citizens as well."

WHERE IS THE PROOF THAT BUSH ORCHESTRATED 9/11???

I have never bought any of the conspiracy theorists' claims that the 9/11 attacks were "an inside job" perpetrated by the Bush White House -- and I never will.

This administration has proven itself over and over again to be too incompetant to pull off something that heinous. Then you have Osama bin Laden boldly proclaiming over and over again the HE was responsible for the 9/11 attacks.

Sorry, but by claiming that Bush was behind 9/11, this report falls flat on its face and is nothing more than a piece of rabid anti-Bush propaganda.

Bush and his cronies are a bunch of slimeballs, but only an absolute totalitarian dictatorship -- such as Hitler's in Germany and Stalin's in the now-defunct Soviet Union -- would have the balls to pull off something like 9/11 without a hitch -- and get away with it.

First off, it was binladen 2 that made that claim. binladen 1 (the original) stated he wasn't responsible for it, according to press reports in sept 2001. compare pictures if you think #2 looks anything like #1.

Second, how in the world would you know if they hadn't gotten away with it? Certainly not from the mainstream media, which has ignored every witness and whistleblower to come forward since 9/11, including firefighters, janitors and even 9/11 commission testimony.

There are plenty of technical holes in the official story, from the collapse of WTC7 to the blatant contradications between the NIST report and the FEMA report about what caused the towers to collapse.

Please do some research.
