Bush, who wasn 't considered important enough by his own administration to even tell him of this, waited for another full week before commenting on this outrage, and when he did, he threatened to veto any legislation to reverse this deal. This from a president who has not once in five years ever exercised his right to veto, thereby contributing immensely to the huge debt this spending-crazy Republican congress has foisted upon the shoulders of our children, and their children. All this so his Halliburton and Enron pals can continue to pursue their goal of an oligarchic government here in America.
