One thing is clear: Republicans who voted for Hillary were really voting against Obama, and can be expected to abandon Hillary in favor of McCain in the general election. What about Republicans who voted for Obama? Some, no doubt, sincerely believe him to be the best candidate in the race. Others might just have been much quicker on the draw than Rush, who has called off Operation Chaos because "I now believe he would be the weakest of the Democrat nominees."

put it into perspective

The "White" vote always gets split.  Hillary Clinton has insulted the Black community and can no longer count on strong support from them.

If the black community won't vote for a DEM, that DEM cannot win the GE.

Bill Clinton won the presidency in 1992 in three-way races with a grand total of 39 percent of the white vote and 83 percent of the black vote and 61 percent of the Hispanic vote

I'm a 68 year old lifelong democrat, in the left wing of his party, married, no kids, atheist/agnostic, philosophical determinist; a second-hand books and records store owner, and small gallery owner in Los Angeles. Love music, politics and health issues. Strongly opposed to war, except as a last resort in response to persistent tyranny. Strongly favor democracy.

The anti-Clinton effect here, is absurd and irrational

If 100 articles are written on this site, concerning the debate between Obama and Hillary, 100 of them will be anti-Hillary.  The bias is preposterous.  It's so over the top, it makes a mockery of any claim to objectivity you people can possible make.  Your devotion to Obama has the fervor and blind-faith you see in traditional religions and cults.  You are being made complete fools.  Any true examination of Obama's record reveals him to be a hustler and a fake.  He takes money from any corporate source or lobbyist around.  He even took, and kept, $23,000 contributed to his campaign  by EXXON.   You people are a bunch of chumps.
