But Bill, you ole dog, you saved the best for last...

"In order for a country to be truly free, people must be responsible and fair-minded. Right now, I believe the Internet is taking us in the opposite direction. And there are few voices speaking up against it."

Wrong again, Bill! Who's trying to take us in the wrong direction?

Being truly free means that we must allow for irresponsible and unfair speech. For if not, how would the Factor ever stay on the air?

Steve Young is the author of "Great Failures of the Extremely Successful" (www.greatfailure.com) and his weekly column truly does end up every Sunday in the same LA Daily News OPEDs as Bill's.

Billo

This internet is going to be what gets America back to what and where it should have and could have always been, if the Govt. and Churches took some time to see and think about what was going on in the 60's.

The technology is here.  This site and the Arianna's are talking about things we should have always heard from the waisted tool called the TV!  A MEDIA-RIGHT STORM.

Billo is a good excuse for the most uselees debate of the last 30 years!

Billo, that word that provokes

illness in me. That's being "civil" and nice.

He is a propagandist to the core and his attack on the Internet is to push that bill  coming up in Congress causing Internet neutrality to be revoked.

I am so glad the author, Mr. young, included that post from the Lib hater. So many righties post like that as I see it all the time. Then we, the ppl that attempt to keep it "civil" get blamed and edited.

OReilly is a womanizer and let the law violations on the books show his record. He is the worst communicator I have EVER heard in all my life in Public media. No one can get a word in edge wise and he is just despicable!

Never a tone of balance, and it's as though everything they say on Fixt News is the opposite in reality.

O'Reilly delivers 14 year old angry speech.

Anger is exhausting and usually pointless.  Hatred is almost always sublime.

Mail carrier who drives the rest of my colleagues nuts with my politics.

Won't let this go unanswered

"I know you won't because you never have..."

Total, utter, absolute lie. I watched Bill O'Reilly take apart the founder of Free Republic over the fact that he wasn't moving fast enough to delete their offensive posts. I have heard him continuously rip into people who demonize Hilary and Barack and other mainstrem liberals. He has spoken out against the dead-bodies-in-Arkansas crowd with regards to Bill Clinton and has said repeatedly that Mr. Clinton had a laregely successful presidency, with a few exceptions.

And let's face it. Those posts on Huffpo regarding Nancy Reagan weren't just "in bad taste", they were flat-out evil.

Bill O'Reilly is not a racist, sexist thug. Put that in your bong and smoke it.
