Do not look for the courts to help, all you are is another face of someone who won 't pay what they owe, no matter what the circumstance. They will not tell you what rights you do have but they will tell you that you get a lawyer and fight it. They will not advise you that you are having your assets frozen they will not even inform you that you are being taken to court. Of course you can go and get an attorney and take it to trial but who can afford that when you are living on next to nothing to begin with. The credit companies, they love it, the later you are the more they can add to what you owe, the more times you bounce in and out of a court room the more court cost you owe, so, it is a win, win situation for everyone but the consumer.

If you finally get wise and refuse to pay a bill therefore making the creditors take it to court thereby freezing what you owe, making it so there is no more interest added or late payments added. Why is it that the creditors will go on and on for a year or more with threats instead of taking it directly to court. Easy, they are still able to tack on dollar after dollar to what you owe while waiting to take it to court.

If this is wrong, how many of you have received letters telling you that they will settle for little more than half of what they claim you owe them? Fat chance, if you had that kind of money you would not have needed credit to begin with. If you are taken to court you can believe the amount they offer in the letter is not the one they bring into court.

In this day and age when there are so many people that do not have anything, people that have done without for so long watching others with all the toys, they see they can suddenly get Credit. The Magic Word, C R E D I T. Look around you all you see is credit this and credit that, how many pieces of junk mail do you get every day telling you that you are pre-approved for credit? A poor person finally has a way to get a new BBQ for his yard, maybe new tools, maybe tires for his car, how about clothes for his kids, all on credit. (I found a cure for mine, I put it all back in the envelope and send it back to them, on their stamp.)

He figures up how long it will take to pay it off and how he can afford it. The trap snaps shut and he finds that all is not as he was led to believe. Corporate America is happy, they just got another sucker. Government America is happy they just helped out their biggest contributors. The Elected Officials are thrilled as the Lobbyists wine and dine them encouraging them to pass more Bills to protect their Special Interests.

Face it folks, we can never match what Corporate America gives every year and with human nature being what it is we will be looking a long time before we will find those that will tell Special Interests to Take A Walk. We see a whole lot of Talk the Talk, but very few of Walk the Walk.

Nuff said ...for now.
