Anarchy in the USA

Just look at Graeme Frost and Bethany Wilkerson. All they did was ask DUBYA and the congress to honor their supposed "culture of life", and insure the health of a future generation. They got slimed as if they had brought Saddam Hussein back from the grave.

Now, not only are the anarchists in control of that which they despise, they are being aided and abetted by the government they seek to destroy. Talk about sleeping with the enemy.

The only question left is if We The People are going to stop this madness. It's obvious the congress isn't going to do anything. It's also clear that the courts aren't really all that interested in protecting the constitution. We are the only ones left who can stop the anarchists in DC.

Anarchy for the USA. Who would have thought it was possible, much less would be brought about by men in three-piece suits? I get the feeling that wherever Sid Vicious is buried, he's doing a wonderful job of roto-tilling the ground under his headstone!

Who'd have thunk it?

Blessed be!
Pappy

37 year old Bid rose well above the ignorant environs of his upbringing and filled his mind with the extremes of subversive underground counterculture and illegal substances until he wound up sitting naked on the end of his bed in one of his empty rooms of this world, bleeding, and trying to braid a noose to hang himself with out of a trashbag that contained the last of his worldly belongings... Pappy...

Great take on that!

The irony is very unsettling... but the truth is so often disturbing!

I'm still trying to figure out WHY the Dalai Lama ACCEPTED the medal of (dis)honor from a man who's touch is quite the opposite of King Midas'... and whose fundamental values are in absolute opposition to everything the exiled leader stands for!

We're living in a time when we're constantly told that 'nothing is what it seems... black is white... war is peace... etc', so of course it's nice to cut through the BS and see the Pope shitting in the woods...

By the way, on a humorous note, Sid was creamated and his ashes (at least partially and according to something I read once) were somehow spilled into the air-intake of the cooling system at Heathrow Airport upon his arrival back in the U.K.

some of my best friends are anarchists

Anarchy is best understood as Rebellion against UNJUST laws. The Yang [male positive force] of anarchy resists authority and causes disorder and is socially and politically incorrect by the norms of the status quo for it seeks the higher ground of justice.

The Yin or feminine passive force of anarchy births a new order out of the chaos and chaos is creativity in action.

Without the Internet I would not have known about or met Jonathan Pollak, an intense young secular Israeli and committed activist and organizer for Anarchist’s Against the Wall/AAtW who spoke throughout major cities in America in 2005.

He has been beaten, shot with rubber bullets and arrested numerous times for standing up to the authority of the Israeli Army with nothing more than his body and persistent struggle for justice and equal human rights for Palestinians.

AAtW is a nonviolent Palestinian grass roots movement that nonviolently opposes the building of The Wall in Palestine where ever it does not follow the Green Line.

Palestinians direct the nonviolent activities and are supported by an ever increasing presence of Israeli’s and Internationals.

I have stood up with the AAtW in Bil'in in 2005 and 2006 and devoted a chapter in my memoirs from occupied Palestine to their bravery and committment to justice and equal human rights.

None of mine are...

...anarchists. I gave that crap up when I entered my twenties. I also gave up those friends as well.

The point I was making is that there is no difference between calls for limited/no government and real anarchism. Our country is as close to a state of anarchy as I have ever experienced. It's not a good thing!

In the case of the person of whom you spoke, perhaps his fight and supposed anarchy are a good thing. I don't know enough about the issue of Israel and Palestine to really put forth a cogent opinion...at least an opinoin that isn't tainted. Therefore, I can't much comment on it.

I am all for someone fighting the good fight. I am not all for the offhanded and unnecessary dismantling of our government just because it can be done. Where is the benefit for the common man? There is none!

Blessed be!

Photo is tooooo, tooooo much!

If the bastardized government we have now has to have a name, it's a very long one.

Theocratic autonomous fascist dictatorship.

And to think, my kids didn't believe me when I told them the world was run by 13 men sitting in a darkened room at the top of a very tall building somewhere.  Go figure.

Sid Vicious...in powder form...

The irony is very unsettling... but the truth is so often disturbing!

Yeah, I know. That is why I wrote the article. It became clear to me that what the neo-cons are doing is nothing less than fomenting anarchy and pandering to anarchists. I decided to run the idea up the flagpole to see who saluted it. Apparently, I am not the only one who feels that way.

I'm still trying to figure out WHY the Dalai Lama ACCEPTED the medal of (dis)honor from a man who's touch is quite the opposite of King Midas'... and whose fundamental values are in absolute opposition to everything the exiled leader stands for!

I am soooo with you on that one, too. I can't for the life of me fathom why a supposed man of peace would want to have anything to do with a war pig. It's one thing to want legitimacy for your views and your issues. It's another thing to "sell your soul" to the devil for a noble cause.

I can't help but feel that's that the Dalai Lama has just sold his soul to the devil with the chimp face! How can he not know the perception of his activities will carry on the world stage? Scary!

We're living in a time when we're constantly told that 'nothing is what it seems... black is white... war is peace... etc', so of course it's nice to cut through the BS and see the Pope shitting in the woods...

Yes! It's crazy-making, isn't it? I know it drives me crazy! That's why there are times I disappear from this site. When I spend hours typing what to me would appear to be common sense, while watching as an ineffectual government can't seem to see the shit they have flung on the wall, it gets to me.

I don't consider myself to be a genius in any sense of the word, even though I have been called that by many from the time I was seven years of age. However, I am starting to wonder. I didn't think it took a MENSA grade IQ to know that up is up, and down is down, and ne'er the twain shall meet. Apparently, for the twenty-first century, that's simply no longer the case!

By the way, on a humorous note, Sid was creamated and his ashes (at least partially and according to something I read once) were somehow spilled into the air-intake of the cooling system at Heathrow Airport upon his arrival back in the U.K.

I figured as much. However, I felt it was worth the hyperbole to make the statement about him roto-tilling his grave. It may have been inaccurate, but I think everyone got the idea.

At least no one tried to snort Sid...unlike Keith Richards, who claims to have snorted the ashes of his father...well, at least I don't THINK anyone snorted Sid!

The photo...

...was finished before the article. I didn't notice what was actually on Sid's shirt until I began manipulating the photo. Once I figured it out, I smiled inside and decided to go with it, anyway. EWE ARE ALL ASLEEP! ENJOY YOUR EMPIRE!
Joe RathbunEWE ARE ALL ASLEEP! ENJOY YOUR EMPIRE!

I am an anarcho-capitalist....

Anything allied with the government doing the job it is supposed to do like forming a more perfect union, establishing justice, insuring domestic tranquility, promoting the general welfare and insuring the blessings of liberty for ourselves and our posterity has been downsized, or completely eliminated.

Why does the government need to do these things for you?

Why is a state even needed?

Example:

Spencer MacCallum, a long-time advocate for the idea of building free societies from the community level up:

"The Somali nation abolished its central government ten years ago and became a stateless nation," the article begins. "During that time, the fears expressed by many international observers that Somalia would fall into chaos have not only not been realized, but many Somalis are finding statelessness an agreeable condition. Somalia is more peaceful, and the people are becoming more prosperous. Boosaaso, located at the tip of the Horn on the Gulf of Aden, is a case in point. When Somalia had a central government, Boosaaso was a small village. Into its port a few small fishing boats came each day to offload fish. Occasionally, a cargo vessel came in as well. Officials of the Republic crawled over these boats collecting taxes and demanding payment for every kind of service, real or imagined.

"With the demise of the Republic, control passed to the local community and the port began to be managed on a commercial basis. A lively import/export trade developed and soon reached an estimated value of U.S. $15 million per year. Private enterprise provided essential public services such as trash collection and telecommunications. In eight years, the population grew from 5,000 to 150,000. Parents and teachers put up schools for their children and even built a university. In the absence of a government-run court system, the heads of extended families of contentious parties settled disputes on the basis of customary law.

"While Boosaaso is a dramatic example, its experience is more the rule than the exception throughout Somalia. Somalis are thriving and prospering without a central government. Exports in 1998 were estimated to be five times greater than they had been under the Republic."

So why can't the supposedly most powerfull, "free" nation even reach the potential by comparison to Somalia?

AVARICE! And the supposed, fear-born, "need" for someone to tell you what to do.

Why? Are you a child in need of nurture? If people would learn to govern themselves, you wouldn't need a government or anyone else to do it for you.

And if you don't know please look up what an anarcho-capitalist is before comment, grouping all Anarchists the same, is ignorance.

Shows your ignorance. You are no better than the bushites and their labeling of America!

You think photoshopping the emperor's head on Sid's body(and Sid was a sellout so is Johnny they gave a bad stereotype to Anarchists, just because they thought, "I don't have to listen to authority" and that's all the farther they thought) is in some way supposed to be derrogatory to Bush?

Stereotypical you are, just like the bushies want you to be.

Well, we could start with the fact that those are words taken from the constitution that created the US in the first place. I suppose that's far too simple for one who can't see the contradictions in his own philosophy.

Why is a state even needed?

See above...that whole establishing justice, insuring domestic tranquility thing...

So why can't the supposedly most [powerful], "free" nation even reach the potential by comparison to Somalia?

Good question...

AVARICE! And the supposed, fear-born, "need" for someone to tell you what to do.

Now I know you are joking! Very funny!

I love it when someone thinks they know all there is to know about me from one of my articles. I need no one to tell me what to do. I can think for myself, and have done so for quite a few years now.

What I love even more is when someone thinks they have hit upon some new wrinkle in political philosophy, yet they fail to take the time to really understand the contradictions contained in garbage they are blathering. If your philosophy embraces property rights, how are you to obtain said property? You will need money.

Where there is money, there is avarice. The USSR proved this...yes, even in a supposedly classless society, money was still power. As long as we trade, there will be room for avarice. I'll get even more basic...as long as we fuck, avarice will exist.

Someone who claims to embrace anything having to do with capitalism bitching about avarice makes as much sense as a whore bitching about sex. I mean, do you really understand the bullshit contradictions in your philosophy? Obviously not.

Why? Are you a child in need of nurture? If people would learn to govern themselves, you wouldn't need a government or anyone else to do it for you.

Why? Because I learned years ago that the Utopian bullshit ideal you are spouting exists as much as free love did in the sixties. It's a dream state.

You can look at any microcosm of reality and show points where things were good...and another look at a different point in time shows when they were bad. Maybe Somalia has something. What is more likely is that they aren't telling the downside of the story.

You see, another human habit you conveniently forget is dishonesty. If you want to sell something, you don't talk about the downside. UH DUH!!!!!!!!!!

And if you don't know please look up what an anarcho-capitalist is before comment, grouping all Anarchists the same, is ignorance.

So is not knowing what the hell you are talking about when you are trying to tell me how wrong I am.

I read your stupid philosophical definition. To me, it sounds a lot like Satanism. To me, Satanism is just a rip off Ayn Rand and her Objectivist philosophy, with a bit of the theatrical. Of course, that whole android thing is just plain out there. I still don't get that one. Hmmm.

But you know what, you can just go on thinking how wonderful your philosophy is. I'll not deny you the wonderfully delicious fun and joy of having your pretty, lofty, oh-so-much-better-than-anyone-else ideals bash into the wall of stone cold reality. By all means, have at it!

Blessed be!

Double dumb ass to you!

Sid-Bushous or whatever.....Shows your ignorance. You are no better than the bushites and their labeling of America!

No, it shows I can work with photoshop...well, actually the Corel equivalent. I could tell you what it is, but I am currently on the Linux side of my computer. Sorry.

I also think it's rather amusing...albeit nowhere near as amusing as one of the statements you make in the paragraph below...

You think photoshopping the emperor's head on Sid's body(and Sid was a sellout so is Johnny they gave a bad stereotype to Anarchists, just because they thought, "I don't have to listen to authority" and that's all the farther they thought) is in some way supposed to be [derogatory] to Bush?

It was supposed to be funny and ironic...and I think it is! So does Sandy Sand (kisses!)!

Once again, I have to thank you for proving how lame you and your philosophy are! Once again you use a decidedly anti-capitalist term, "sell out". Do you know what capitalism means, or are you just saying it because someone recently turned you on to Ayn Rand? If the former, you certainly don't show it. If the latter, you might want to browse the dictionary as you struggle through Atlas Shrugged.

It also shows who is the one who needs to take stock of their own ignorance. Please, tend to the wood framed house in your eye before you attempt to deal with the particle of sawdust in mine.

Stereotypical you are, just like the bushies want you to be.

Stereotypical? Dude, I said nothing queer in the article. I did post the Gay Bushisms web site...oops, I did it again...in a comment, but I have posted that many times. Other than that, I didn't snap one finger or swish during the writing of the article...although I admit I did just snap right then! hehehe

Instead of being like them, research before you comment and rant on an ideology you are obviously unfamiliar with.

It looks to me that there is only ONE person ranting around these parts, and it's certainly not me!

C'mon, Pappy

don't get yourself all wrecked about America going down the toilet. To say there is no difference between limited government and anarchism is to deny every statement of our Founders, who constantly lobbied for small, smaller, smallest government.

Someone shouted BOO! by delivering this Bush administration and your spectrum of the country sees ghosts behind every curtain. America has been through some very inelegant times in the past couple hundred years and it didn't come back because the unemployed pointed at the rich and cried foul.

Pick yourself up, wipe your nose and wait it out. Someone will fix it for you.

No rebuke from the funny man?

Anarcho-capitalists don't accept the distinction between a "personal" sphere of activity and an "economic" sphere of activity - they only see one sphere, the sphere of Human Action.

Anarcho-capitalists consider that libertarian socialist notions about power, hierarchy, command and obey, etc., are rather childish - they think it is legitimate for individuals to voluntarily enter relationships where one obey the other on some purposes, presumably in exchange of some other service. What they oppose is the means by which some might obtain obedience, by force or fraud - but this is just like they oppose robbery and racket in general, and has nothing to do with obedience to some orders in particular.

Anarcho-capitalists consider as ridiculous the want of liberty without ever acknowledging the dual notion of responsibility.

Harpist, unemployed blue collar worker, and Bush basher living deep in the heart of Texas.
PappyHarpist, unemployed blue collar worker, and Bush basher living deep in the heart of Texas.

You want a rebuke, you sorry puke...

...here it is!

Your "American dream", you have to be asleep to get it.

And you have to be smoking some good chronic to see yours, or get it.

Some classical liberal thinkers, such as Ayn Rand, have vehemently opposed anarcho-capitalism.

Probably because they were smart, and your asshole philosophy is anything but.

Ayn Rand a liberal? In which fucking universe? DEE DEE DEE!

I was not the brain dead moron who showed his ignorance of the meaning of "capitalism" by by slamming it, and even going as far as accusing someone of selling out, as if selling out is a bad thing. Selling out is the true beating heart of capitalism, you drooling, brain-dead, butt-picking, cretin.

You might find it helpful to read your drivel before you post it so you don't look like so much of a fool. Of course, it would be even more helpful if you knew what the fuck you were attempting to say. I don't want to ask too much of you. You might implode and become a quantum singularity.

So I just picked up a book of Ayn Rand's huh? Your ignorance preceeds itself again.

I think you meant, "your ignorance precedes you, again." Please note, oh nose-picking booger-eater, that the word is spelled P-R-E-C-E-D-E-S, not "preceeds". See the suggestion below.

You are childish, and people like yourself (crybabies, do-gooders, busy bodies) are the very reason you're in this mess.

What mess? What the fuck are you talking about?

Please, dangle your participle in someone else's face!

Do you even TRY to edit this garbage so that others might be able to understand it? Do you even know what the world "edit" means? I get the feeling you don't understand what "proofread" means either. If you do know what the concepts of "edit" and "proofread" mean, please show us. I know I have yet to see one shred of evidence that you are up to such difficult tasks!

I really think you ought to consider the Thorazine regimen I suggested in a reply to your sorry ass yesterday. If not that, please consider the remedial English classes I suggest below.

Also, if there are words that absolutely don't apply to me, they are, "do-gooder," and "busy body." But tell me, from where do you get the idea that I am either a do-gooder or busy body? I am at a loss to understand anything in your protracted rant. About the only thing I can get is somehow, you think I pissed in your Wheaties, and now, because of that perceived pablum piddling, you are going to let me know just how bad my cereal urination episode hurt your poor wittle fee-wings. |eyes fluttering|

Whatever, Miss Thing!

The Constitution doesn't need the government help. How far has the reverse taken you?

It's taken me to the point that I can understand that you probably meant "The Constitution doesn't need the [government's] help". Note that little mark after the "t" and before the "s" in the word "government's". That is called an apostrophe. It is used to show possession or word contraction. In the case above, it is used to show possession. That is called P-U-N-C-T-U-A-T-I-O-N!

Now, besides the horrid sytax and grammar (and very much because of it), I don't really get what you are trying to say. The constitution defines (or is supposed to define) the government that runs the country. If you don't understand that simple, basic precept, what the FUCK are you doing discussing politics, you drooling imbecile?

Reverse of what? What are you talking about? You are hopeless!

You obviously didn't comprehend what you read, if you read, the definition.

So (sticking my middle finger in your face), my dream...works for over 10 years in Somalia.

Your dream....a miserable failure.

My dream, 231 years.
Your dream: wet...as in, "mommy, I just WET the bed...WAHHHHHH!"

|blowing kisses|

Like the fine gentleman said in the posts here......Pick your crybaby self up, have your mommy wipe your nose, and sit there like a dumbass frog on a log and wait for SOMEONE ELSE to fix it for you!

You meant, "dumb ass," right? Spelling, spelling, spelling!

The "fine gentleman" posted more than once? Really? Is there a hidden second message from him that I somehow missed? I only saw one. Unless he is posting another even as I work on this one, then there is only one. That is, unless I am caught in a time warp (it's just a jump to the left).

Fix "it"? What "it"? Generally, a pronoun such as, "it," is supposed to reference a noun. That noun is usually, but not always, the subject of the sentence. Used properly, one might say, "we all thought he had sense, but clearly, he never had it, or lost it." Used improperly, we have the undefined pronoun, "it," and whatever, the "it," that I am supposed to fix is supposed to be. That is a thought known only to yourself.

Sloppy. Yes indeed, VERY sloppy writing.

You know what, I truly don't understand what the fuck you are trying to say. I really think it's time for you to give serious thought to taking remedial English courses, with a HEAVY emphasis on G-R-A-M-M-A-R, P-U-N-C-T-U-A-T-I-O-N, S-P-E-L-L-I-N-G, and S-Y-N-T-A-X! It is plainly evident you suck at the lot!

I expect the people with whom I debate to be literate, or at least cogent. It is clear that you are neither. So, until you can write like the intellectual giant you are pretending to be, you will continue to prove yourself to be the simple-minded, pin-headed, mental midget you make yourself out to be. Frankly, I find it quite entertaining. Promise you will continue?

Now go run along and play with your peepee thinking how much "what for" you just gave me. Meanwhile, I will bask in the reality that you have done nothing short of once again, proving yourself to be a complete and utter idiot!

"Suck my balls!" -E. Cartman

Blessed be!

Have you ever used your brain...

...as anything more than a spacer for your ears? If so, I'd love to see proof you are even capable of such a feat!

Blah blah blah!

Yawwwwn! Whatever you say, Bub!

Do these anarcho-capitalists teach you how to communicate like you have more than rotted tofu between your ears? If so, then maybe they can give you help in communication skills. I know you need all the help you can get in that area. If they can do that, maybe they ain't all that bad.

You poor, poor thing. I feel naught but pity for you.

Blessed be!...clearly, you need all the help you can get.

Pappy, forgive me for saying it...

but now might be a good time for one of those double snap swoosh thingies! LOL!

I enjoyed the article.  I don't quite understand why you're being attacked over it...

Perhaps the Anarcho-Capitalists (which sounds like a serious waste of time to me) should make some rules about who speaks for them!  Who gets pissed off over sticking W's head on Sid's body?  I mean, is this what they bitch about at their meetings in the bottom of some moldy used-bookshop while their Emo girlfriends run to Starbucks and get them Lattes to pour into their chipped Emma Goldman mugs? Geez...

And Somalia?  Everyone's dying to go there...

Who's sniffling?  WTF?

Keep up the good stuff!  I like your articles.

I was actually thinking three in a Z, ala In Living Color.

Loved it! Hated it! Over it!

I enjoyed the article. I don't quite understand why you're being attacked over it...

That makes two of us. I mean! With the ferocity of the taunting I am getting from Joe Nobody (or is it Joe Nobrains?!?), one would have thought I went to wherever he lives, dropped my drawers, and took a big, stinking day-after-Taco-Bell shit right in the middle of his bed.

Maybe he thinks that just because I have some bit of liberal sensitivity, I am as much of a pushover as the pussies that defile Capital Hill with their cowardly presence! Oh, mercy, is he Sooooo wrong...in SOOOOOO many ways!

Dude, Joe Suck-that-certain-part-of-my-MALE-body, chill out! You are truly making yourself into a complete and utter fool.

But, don't chill too quickly. You are providing me with hours and hours of free entertainment! And I know of at least two others who find you just as amusing.

Geez...

Could it be that simple? Could it just be that our friend Joe Eat-shit-and-bark-at-the-moon is nothing more than a poser looking to impress his slutty, slattern, significant other? Could it be that simple? Stay tuned for more details! (BFG)

Oh, and let's not assume Joe's slutty, slattern, significant other's sex to me female. Considering how twisted he got, and considering I make no bones about being queer, maybe that is too much for him and his closet-case mentality to face someone with courage to face himself. Clearly, he has none of that kind of courage! Or...

Maybe he's pissed because he can't get photoshop to bring up one picture, much less the suite of tools needed to glue DUBYA's head to a man that achieved more fame in death than Mr. Joe Suck-that-certain-part-of-my-MALE-body will ever know in his waste-of carbon-hydrogen-nitrogen-oxygen existence.

Or maybe he's pissed because mom won't knock on the door of his man-cave (ie, that dank, unused room in mommy's basement) before she bursts in on him and his one-handed reading sessions.

I understand. Poor baby, that must suck. How embarrassed you must be...well, unless you have a bit of Ye Olde Oedipal thing going on.

And Somalia? Everyone's dying to go there...

Oh, I was thinking about it for my whirlwind tour of planetary armpits and assholes, right there after touring Mexican border towns, Rwanda, Ethiopia, Fallujah, and Cleveland. Oh yeah, I'd rather go to Cleveland than Somalia...and I despise Cleveland with everything in me...even more than I hate Toledo....ewww!

Who's sniffling? WTF?

Not me! If there is a tear in my eye, it is most certainly not from sorrow. When I laugh too hard, I get teary. It's one of the crosses I bear in life...but at least I can properly conjugate a verb, and use it in its proper tense in a sentence. Our mutual friend is incapable!

Keep up the good stuff! I like your articles.

Thank you for your comments.

When I wrote the article, I attempted to front-load it with lots of sarcasm, irony, and satire, up to and including the photo "Sid Bushious". It wasn't written to bunch up panties, just ask questions and make statements. Obviously, some folks (that would be you, Joe...) need to get a life...oh, and an education wouldn't hurt, either.

TTFN!

Blessed be!

EWE ARE ALL ASLEEP! ENJOY YOUR EMPIRE!
Joe RathbunEWE ARE ALL ASLEEP! ENJOY YOUR EMPIRE!

YOU ARE PROOF OF THE DUMBING DOWN OF THE U.S.

Since you took me to English class for simple typing errors, I will take you to economics and spelling and philosophy and ....oh yeah, they don't have a class on how to teach you to stop being a little girl(there's ANARCHY outside OH! MY!) lifting up your dress and running to a corner. So for you and your little girlfriend C.bid, if he can find time to remove his lips from your PENIS........

Noun 1. sellout - an act of betrayal

It is commonly associated with attempts to increase mass appeal or acceptability to mainstream society. A person who does this is labelled a sellout.

The phrase is often heard in the musical community, where it is used to imply that an artist has compromised their artistic integrity in order to gain radio airplay or obtain a recording contract, especially with a major label, The classic example of this being when Chumbawumba signed to EMI after years of viciously attacking the organisation. Often, the label will force the style of a particular record producer on the performer, or insist on inclusion of songs by commercial songwriters. Or, the label may refuse to release an album, deeming it uncommercial, though this indicates that the artist or group maintained their standards or values.

The Who Sell Out is an album by The Who with mock endorsement advertisements on the cover. The album pretends to represent a radio station that plays nothing but Who music, including mock commercials and radio-station promotions.

The accusation of selling out is often made against punk bands who sign to major labels, since punk has a cultural tradition of INDEPENDENCE and doing it yourself. Similarly, it is often heard in the indie rock and metal communities, which like punk have a tradition of mainstream rejection and/or anticonsumerism.

To those who accept the idea of consumerism, these products are not seen as valuable in themselves, but rather as social signals that allow them to identify like-minded people through consumptio
