Is there really anything the President can do in the Oval Office, except to give the order to launch a massive attack? It isn't as if they strap on their six gun and duel for us. So what do they do, or what will they do, or what have any even promised?

Oh they all have experience, they all have plans, Stay The Course on tough Defense, but make lots of changes in how Washington works. Of course we are at war in Afghanistan, people tend to forget that. It hardly ever comes up in discussion and as we approach the election I really hope we get to hear some debate talking point about it.

Our troops have been fighting a war on terror there and every year there's a new bumper crop of opium. It's a really good thing we aren't fighting our war on drugs there or the increasing exports, of record strength opium harvests, might make it seem like the whole effort is a failure.

Afghan farmers increased opium production 34 percent in 2007 and last year produced 93 percent of the world's opium, the main ingredient in heroin. Its export value was estimated at $4 billion. That's almost good enough to be a listed as a corporation. If not they can grow the business, get some distributors and sell that at a bigger mark up, through retailers closer to the customers. Maybe Congress could get off cheaper if it takes just two weeks of the war cost to buy all of it. Then say another day's worth of spending to ship it to a warehouse, or even use the FEMA trailers to store it. You might say they are moldy now but we know if we give it to Congress to keep, eventually they will destroy it.

The candidates tell us that we are a special breed we Americans, and our rightness will always prevail; we are the best people on the planet and we have the record to show for it. Americans are the hardest working and the most caring people on the earth, who else could carry a war tab like that? On top of it all, look at how much compassion there is, every time there is any kind of disaster. Americans reach into our pockets.

We don't count on the government to do everything you know, they have bigger issues to take care of. We need leaders with experience to tell us we're good. They have the skill and the leadership to fund this kind of destruction. Spend, spend, spend $275 million per day just for Iraq and that's not even counting the money for so many other special interests and subsidies. Isn't it clear now why Washington can't do it alone and there are 65 lobbyists for every Member of Congress.

It frees them up to fund raise and to stump because there are Islamo-Fascists to kill. Kill them there so we don't need to kill them here that's the logic, right? It must be a mighty fierce enemy, because after years and years of using our weapons of something that's not mass destruction, we have an endless war we're fighting.

But what we do have is patrols and guards and canine units, all around the New York Stock Exchange. There's no way that the Islamo-Facists will get near our biggest assets our corporations. Unless that is all our money is gone and our companies beg them to come in, to buy us!!

I live in the heart of America, and am haunted by the saying:
"Evil succeeds because good men do nothing." by Edmund Burke.

Albert Einstein had another way of saying it:
"The world is a dangerous place, not because of those who do evil, but because of those who look on and do nothing."

So I do what I can.

Right on, Pamela

Gives new meaning to the phrase "Selling out." We know they are doing this, but why? After all the sacrifices, deaths and destruction since 1913, we're the last light on the planet. It is intended to go out before 2013, the 100th year anniversary of the Federal Reserve. It's only five years away, and we've lost at least 95% of the value of our currency. Seems like they're on schedule. Wish it wasn't so.

There is no defence when everyone 'knows'

http://www.fourwinds10.com/ COMMENTS on lst Casper Update of Jan. 18, 2008 Dear Fourwinds Friends: I just read 1st Casper Update Jan 18. That seems about right for Roberts is no Constitutional 'Judge", does not sit as a lawful judge of the People of the Republic in any capacity, does not sit on a lawful "court of the United States" nor have any Article III Constitutional capacity. The US Supreme Court is not an Art. III court but "simulates" such as part of the smoke and mirrors legal voodoo to give an impression or appearance that it does. There is NO WAY that Roberts or any of these Black Robes will ever act to enable the USA to come back on line, in my opinion. They are all "employees" of the CORPORATION, all pay federal taxes, all operate within a venue calling itself a 'court' which itself has a FEDERAL TAX IDENTIFICATION NUMBER, and is most likely listed on Dunn & Bradstreet as a public corporation. I have not checked it, but all of the State and federal USDC's are shareholder 'owned' public corporations. Guess who the shareholders are? Judges and attorneys who 'practice' 'law' inside the BAR. Yes, indeed. So, who in the judiciary is going to uphold the 'rule of law' when there is NONE? NONE. It is an apparition and a simulation, made for public consumption and commercial gain, because the whole thing operates on credit/debt-based negotiable instruments, which are expressed in terms of 'DOLLARS', which are WHAT? FRN's. So, it is a debt-creation scheme....and a 'extortionate of credit' scheme, the whole judiciary operates under and on the same FRAUD that the credit 'lending' or 'loan origination' scheme operates on..... All judicial filings, including Complaints, Pleadings, etc. are all bonded and insured. All statutes, regulations, codes, rules, Orders, Directives, etc. etc. are COMMERCIAL in nature, "terms and conditions to contract" if you will, and subject to the jurisdiction and venue of the admiralty-maritime-commercial-contract 'courts'.....i.e. trading pits. The Supreme Court is just a more sophisticated higher level trading pit. And, they who 'officiate' there are not representatives of the People or the lawful Government thereof. They are fakirs and 'actors' all. THERE, I SAID IT. THERE YOU HAVE IT. Every 'federal judge' has his/her oath of office and "civil commission" or "appointment" lodged within the Department of Justice, which is an EXECUTIVE agency under 28 USC 3002 (15). Why would alleged independent judicial officers have their official oath, bond, commission etc. lodged there, instead of with the U.S. Department of State, which is where they used to be lodged before the U.S. courts were made instrumentalities of the FED CORP? That's right. The US Courts are under DoJ authority, which is under EXECUTIVE [PRIVILEGE} and "immunity". Furthermore, it is a FACT OF LAW, the US Attorney General, after being sworn to 'public office' with his hand on some bible or other, takes a subsequent oath to INTERPOL as a 'permanent member' thereof. This is under Article 30 of the INTERPOL Constitution, which obligates the US AG to perform in total disregard to national sovereignty from which the 'member' derives, and to perform his/her duties toward satisfaction of the international purposes of INTERPOL. Some folks have determined that INTERPOL itself is an INTERNATIONAL CRIMINAL CARTEL, making itself as an international investigative and law enforcement consortium. Also, the US Secretary of Treasury is, under U.S. law, an  'alternate member' of INTERPOL, and is allegiant to INTERPOL under the same Article. That makes two 'unregistered foreign agents' under US 'Foreign Agent Registration Act'. Treasury Sec is also Governor of the IMF, so WHAT GIVES? IMF is supposedly bringing on these new changes, at least at the level of the monetary system, and you have the Treasury Sec now deceased and all kinds nefarious stuff going on which links to secretive agencies and operations outside the USA/US. If the chief officers of the UST and DoJ are allegiant to foreign Principals, because it is axiomatic that "a man cannot serve two masters", then who is in control of US federal DoJ and Treasury, really? Remember what I wrote above: ALL US federal judges are CORPORATE AND OPERATE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE CORPORATION/CARTEL, and are under or within the EXECUTIVE. There is absolutely no 'separation of powers' and no 'three branch' structure to the alleged 'government'. It is all one CORP. THAT's it. And, the US intel and military are right in there as well, right along with the political hacks calling themselves 'Congressman' or 'Senator'. All in/under the EXECUTIVE. This is a FACT of "LAW". OOPS. GOING to piss some folks off here. Time to bring out the 'water boards'.

Miss Drew, you have brought up many good points, and realities about our country's situation.  Things happen for a reason.  Gleaning the fields for information to discern the truth and reasons for "why" we act the way we do requires persistence.  Some very important "background" information leading up to our present day crises is found at http://www.theantechamber.net/ .

Read the Contra Fall-out Series, Articles and Series.  Read about the events which led to Mrs. V.K. Durham's husband's torture and death.

Then update to http://www.worldreports.org/  and its Global Analysis and International Intelligence.  See NEWS.:

Then, you can go back through these reports to follow the saga of deceitful dealing of the higher-ups with another GateKeeper of the People's Funds.   http://www.fourwinds10.com/  and the comments by Casper and 'S' who contributed the above are relevant to the Wanta saga.  Go back and read other Casper comments, he is very astute. There is much that is hidden from us all, but which explains the "actions" of those in high places.  If you seek understanding and knowledge, then continue to investigate.

Louis ParkI must admit, I'm not politically savy but I do enjoy a good read.

Defend life and liberty.

I am afraid some day soon the common American people will all wake up from their drug induced slumber, only to find out the American dream has become a nightmare and now they want to get out of bed and take back the country our forefathers died and willed to us. Some have woke-up early and practiced the civil disobedience with- truth in speech and -the right to assemble peacefully, and what did they get for their efforts? They were put back to sleep permanently. I don’t need to name them, but only to say that they were presidents, ministers, song writers, and philosophers. After saying that I should not be afraid the people will wake-up, but that a peaceful solution to take back our country will require a well armed revolution from the American people.

Benazir Bhutto went on the record

that Bin-laden has been dead for some years now and I think that might have been the reason she was whacked, and the CIA usually has a hand in these things. 911 was one big David Copperfield type illusion to free up our treasury money for bushco cronies and of course to make us gophers of the mini-state machine. Mongoloid middle america bought the hoax so now its on to Iran and the old Al Qaeda boogey men are being recycled when the real terrorists are in the whitehouse. The war on terror is both a cash cow for the cronies and a convenient excuse to complete the martial law lockdown of the US. Chertoff holds an Israeli passport and is a foreign agent leading the drive to lockdown the US and strip from us what few resources we have left. All our federal property is now mortgaged to the world bank. We have been looted and now the foreign interests will buy up this nation as the economy tanks. We are to become part of a world plantation working as slaves of foreigners. 911 worked so well I expect they will have another one soon to keep the sheep willing to give up what few freedoms we have left.

taking responsibility

If we want to stop the Republican agenda ( and those Democrats who vote pro-war) we must take matters into our own hands.

Frankly,  I have seen no concrete evidence of people stating how they would deal with another terrorist attack.  I have heard people state we are involved in the (illegal) wars because of our dependence on foreign oil; people still fly and drive SUVs, and statistically the more of an environmentalist you are the more likely you are to fly and own a car.

Dealing with terrorists internally means working with militias; liberals still maintain the opposite position, trying to violate Second amendment right to bear arms.

What we need is cooperation.  We can end our dependence on foreign oil by plug-in hybrids, we can transport by rail (including ourselves) instead of air or truck.

We can work with militias to maintain the peace.  There are millions of law-abiding citizens who own firearms ready and willing to defend the country.

Lock down of America

Lock down of America - posted above.
It may well be true, and the Shock doctrine too, as practiced in Chile with Pinochet and elsewhere.
So all you people thinking about what is coming down the pike and 'getting prepared' for it, think on this.
In the Katrina fiasco (for whom?) the National Guard went door to door confiscating the weapons and if you did not, you went to jail. Also reports of the first ones on the scene were Blackwater goons, not afraid to shoot blacks who were, after four days, trying to get food to feed their families.

The Shock Doctrine in Chile 'disappeared' thousands, mostly union leaders, people who were dissidents, protesters on 'secret' lists' and the like. One of the Neocons, (I forget which particular slime ball) shortly after 9/11 said to someone about conspiracy theories, "be careful what you say". So I suggest that this is real serious folks, be careful what you say and to whom. Stalin and Hitler were the forerunners of these people, and they have learned every trick in the book and improved on some.

A side note. Just seen on YOU Tube a series of police Tazerings, which on balance, made me sick. Given the 'science fiction' probability that they would like to enforce the ID card and later the 'chip' embedded in you, what are the chances that you can be 'calmed' by a dose of tazering from the chip, should you say something they do not like? 1984 is coming, albeit a bit late.
