"Terrorist families" (including children) or just plain old terrorists?
Whatever the precise details may be, the official version is utter nonsense. That's why the survivors of the attack are being prevented from speaking to the press. Just like the bombed-out wedding party in Anbar Province, or the Jessica Lynch fiasco; the official version is "always right" as long as there is no competing narrative.
The bottom line is that the US military is now being used as an "enforcer" in tribal and clan-based disputes. This will make it even more difficult for Washington to prove that it's an honest broker that can reconcile the differences between the between the warring factions. With every reckless act of violence, the US becomes further mired in an "unwinnable" war in a hostile country. Only the American corporate media thinks that that's something to cheer about.
Whatever lies they tell us remember the reason. It is about the oil. Bush and Co are getting desparate, they have not gotten the sweetheart oil deal signed by the Iraq Parliament and it looks more and more that it is not going to happen any time soon. The Parliament has run for the Syrian boarder for self preservation'they were put on notice to run or die. Al Maliki and Al Sadr will not let them sign away Iraq's oil rights and now George and Co. do not know what to do. The Bush administration has been had. No oil for Exxon,Shell, BP, or Chevron. No 75/25 deal. Looks like the Russians and Chinese will get to pump that sweet crude oil if they give most of the profits to the Iraqi's. The Bush deal is too greedy. So the corporate controlled media have to keep the war running until they get their way, no matter how many lives it takes. They are stuck in the grave yard taking nickels off of dead men's eyes.Let me rephrase that, off of dead US soldiers ,women, children and old men's eyes. The price of Greed.
