The cynicism is breathtaking.
Senator Clinton reminds me of Richard Nixon: brilliantly calculating, ruthlessly ambitious and like Nixon – and unlike her husband – as able to throw a punch as to take one.
Does anyone doubt that Governor Richardson and his state will suffer at the hands of a President Hillary Clinton and her administration for the governor’s endorsement of Senator Obama?
Think “enemies list,” kept mentally but never put to paper or said out loud.
As a Republican, the choice between McCain and Clinton is easy, and I suppose I should be glad of the Democrats uncivil war. But, I’m not.
McCain/Obama is a so much more interesting, even hopeful contest. Those two senators seem to me so much more authentic than the focus group focused Senator Clinton, and more capable of waging a civil campaign on the issues.
The Democrat super-delegates have mush for brains. They should step in now, endorse Obama, put their party out of its misery and give Americans the best choice possible in the general election.
If they do not, they deserve the looming disaster in November.
