Cervical cancer is prevented in a hundred other ways, including adequate sunlight exposure and vitamin D consumption, supplementation with probiotics, adequate intake of selenium and zinc, increased consumption of trace minerals and iodine, regular physical exercise and many other safe, natural, non-patented strategies.

Consider this: With all the drugs being prescribed, all the toxic chemicals being consumed, and all the diseases now ravaging America -- a country with the highest rates of degenerative disease in the world -- does anybody really thing that injecting one more drug is the answer? You'd have to be crazy to think so.

Questioning some of the medical claims in this article.

Merck profits aside, the HPV virus has been shown to be the main cause of cervical cancer. The author provides no evidence for the proposed natural measures, or the claim that the vaccine is "worthless as a treatment." (Of course it's not a treatment - it's a vaccine.)

While Merck is pushing for one side of the issue, the Religious Right is pushing for the other side, claiming the vaccine encourages promiscuity. I don't think they have girls' interests at heart, either.
