My name it means nothing, my age it means less. My deeds of activism are mine to enjoy and share as I feel necesary, not as some clown in a small forum's administration thinks I must..This place gets worse each and every visit.

I can only but say thanks

I have been critical of the go along to get along Democrats for a very long time  now, but without the eloquence displayed by this article. The Democratic Party has reached a crossroads and must make an important decision, and do so immediately.

If the DLC continues to drive the message, and tailor it to achieve maximum dollars from the corporations several things will happen, or rather continue to happen. The Party will continue to not represent the best interests of the American people and the people will continue to move away from Democrats. One might point to the recent election results as contrary to this concept but I say that vote was one against the war, against Bush and against a do-nothing Congress. This is a far cry from a vote for democrats.

As the failure to end this war weighs more heavily upon us all the GOP will be very well positioned to point to the failures of a democratic majority and regain the majority, perhaps in both houses, perhaps even unto the White House as well. Sound impossible? Watch and see.
