The voices for peace, justice, impeachment, and freedom walked back in the direction they had came from and then did a U-turn and headed back towards the intersection they had been disrupting. The group crossed the street and took off for the loop.

The action continued from then on with no acts of resistance. The group of voices headed to ABC7 Chicago to protest outside while the news was being broadcast.

It was a stunning exclamation point to a night of protest and resistance that proved what the people are capable of. Had they been more organized and less spontaneous (a march after the permitted march was not planned; it was a product of great energy after the permitted march) something superb could have been done. With cameras and media following the group around, the police would have been tested dearly because if they laid one finger on these young Americans, it was not going to be good since evidence could be produced.

How fitting is it that the night ends on the steps of the Fourth Estate? When considering the role that media has played in keeping this Iraq War going, very.

***Creative Actions are planned throughout Chicago tomorrow. More reports will come. I suggest you seek out resistance events in your area (not necessarily Chicago) and participate, spectate, or cover the events through video or articles which will be posted after you attend.****
