Because the bill is stacked on the unconstitutional foundation of "Studying" (ie spying on, legislating based on and holding Government-conducted hearings based on) thought itself, it is too flawed to be amended, and must be tossed out in its entirety. www.aclu.org/safefree/spyfiles/28000res20060314.html http://www.aclu.org/freespeech/gen/31878prs20070920.html Please act urgently. Time is of the essence and free speech/due process are on the line. The clock is ticking. Please immediately send out petitions and publicize the cause, to get proactivity going with the greater American public. This is a fundamentally American cause, not a partisan or left-wing/right-wing matter. It affects everybody, even those not posting to the Internet.
