He publicly joked about not being able to find the weapons of mass destruction that he said made his illegal war necessary (at the 2004 Radio and Television Correspondents' Dinner), with the blood of more than 500 American troops and several thousand innocent Iraqis already on his hands.
He said in April of 2004 (during a speech in Buffalo, New York) that warrants were necessary for wiretaps, even while chasing down terrorists, "because we value the Constitution", when the illegal NSA warrantless wiretap program that he authorized had already been operating for almost three years.
He played a guitar and ate birthday cake with John McCain while people were drowning in the streets of New Orleans in the wake of Hurricane Katrina.
He signed the torture ban into law, then quietly added one of his worthless signing statements saying he would ignore it as he saw fit.
Morality and George W. Bush are complete strangers.
He has also failed to legitimately define the mission that he says must be continued, to honor those that have already died, until it is done, nor has he explained the "noble cause" that 2500-plus of our troops and tens of thousands of innocent Iraqis have died for.
That's because there is no such thing as a noble cause for a war based on lies.
But there is a noble cause for using frozen embryos that would otherwise be thrown in the trash for stem cell research.
It's called the extension and preservation of human life, which this president has proven tens of thousands of times over he is not concerned with.

Only One Thing
Bush has done every despicable thing a man in his position could possibly do. Accept for one. Order a nuclear strike. Is that his plan that he never reveals? Peace through nuclear power. I wonder. by skyreader7 (0 articles, 0 quicklinks, 0 diaries, 181 comments) on Friday, Jul 21, 2006 at 1:52:03 AM
