Thanks for a sane, objective and correct analysis

One point that most people simply do not get: the power elites that control our plutocracy understand that there must be regular, periodic shifts of superficial and misleading power between Republicrooks and Democraps; so a Clinton victory is just fine with them for keeping up the charade of America's delusional democracy.  One other point, I am still predicting Obama as the VP for Clinton; again it makes perfect sense in terms of keeping up "democracy appearances."

Hillary's prospects

I've mentioned before that Bill clinton was the best Republican president that we've had since Dwight Eisenhower. Does Hillary have the capability to be the second best? I think not, and that speaks to the dim prospects of saving the Republic under her stewardship.

One only needs to look at how the mainstream media, and even her supposed prospective opponents in the Republican party are pimping her candidacy to realize that the deal is closed and her heart belongs to Daddy Warbucks.

Hedging ones bets

As it seems pretty obvious that a majority of Americans, sickened by endless examples of Bush incompetence, callousness, corruption and greed will vote for any democrat for President, we see the corporations choosing the most Republican of the democratic candidates.

I fully expect the coming election to be the dirtiest, slimiest and most foul campaign in American history and I believe Hillary Clinton will emerge victorious. I expect that the Left will be partially satisfied with her domestic programs and the Right will bite their tongues, submarine her at every turn, grudgingly accept her foreign policy decisions and await the cyclic change that will inevitably come.

Ms. Hillary

I think you got it right on the mark about Hillary. But! Ron Paul may surprise us. He is getting a tremedous amount of momentum. He even brought the younger generation out of hiding. Many think the younger generation is all talk and no action. Will they even vote? Well, I think they will in strong numbers. Americans really need to wake up and see what is really taking place in our corrupt government.

Answer to A Question

Have you ever mistakenly bitten in to peice of fruit  to find itis rotten in side?

Do you then stop to identify each individual bacteria? or do you look at smell it declaring it fetid?

Same deal with corporate capitalism. The individual companies are like the bacteria it is what they do that is important.

No there is no specific counter government any more than bacteria create a seperate peice of fruit or restrict its destructive ways.

Each bacteria to prosper undermines the integruity of the fruit (society). When that fruit is totally spoiled they move to the next fruit (see drugs products that are illegal, because they're dangerous in US are then marketed to 3rd world countries) to polute and destroy. Note that Corporation like bacteria where the fruit/societies' are the least protected.

Does that answer your question?

Assuming it to be an honest inquiry

and noting that Andris gave a definitive answer I would nevertheless elucidate a bit.

The question itself could be seen as a snide and sarcastic put down of a commonly held opinion on the left, an opinion rather easily verified by an in depth look at voting records and speeches, including contradictions associated with campaign contributions. I will assume it to be an honest attempt to find the truth.

Can you not wonder, as do I, how a company like Halliburton, incorporated in the Cayman Islands so as to pay no taxes, gets a contract with a guarranteed profit built into it. This same company delivers little despite the billions in payments and is never audited or even questioned as to non delivery or actual delivery of unclean water and rancid meat? All this despite a history of overcharging for nonexistent overtime and getting stiff penalties for such acts prior to our current administration assuming power.

This same story is repeated by many such corporations, and in many industries, especially oil and natural gas, defense of course and even agribusiness seems to inherit sweetheart legislations that are not bestowed upon Mom and Pop company but pour in enormous rivers from the halls of congress to our largest corporations. Hell from the first overthrow of a sovereign nation with a democratically elected government for the benefit of the bottom line of United Fruit (Guatemala in '53) our nation is little more than a service arm of big business.

Any further questions?

Dear Karen

I am probably way out of line to usurp the author's place here, and by no means do I speak for him, but with that disclaimer out of the way, I have a brief reply to your queries.

Corporate America, and multinational and transnational corporatists do not invite me to their meetings on political matters, but it is naive to suppose that because one hasn't attended one that they never happen. Indeed, you can often see these meetings covered in the main stream press where they are called "fund raising dinners." Moreover, they don't publish a directory to identify themselves as people and organizations that will benefit from fascist government, but there are those who clearly would, and indeed, there are those who clearly do.

One may simply observe the list of corporations who are the exclusive beneficiaries of the current administration's fascist largesse to create one's own directory. Oddly enough, you'll find that most, if not all of them, are sharing a small part of that largesse with Hillary Clinton's campaign organization. If you dig a little deeper, you'll find that most of her most important campaign operatives, those who do her polling, fund raising, spin control, and advising move very easily between the Democratic and Republican sides of the aisle. The Republican side is where the bulk of their business dealings are.

I refer you to the Nation magazine to look up the background on these subjects.

Hitlery,?,,,Not EVEN for dog catcher.

There is a good website where you will find a list of the 46 people associated with the clintons that are all dead many under very mysterious circumstances.  www.povn.com/sandlent/clinton  I print this on three sheets of paper two pages per sheet then cut them in half to make a little bookand everywhere I go I pass it out to anyone that might be a demo (especially women) with a RON PAUL card attached. There are many who have died to keep the clinton-bush crime sydicate in business. I am printing up photos of Ghouliani in drag for the more aristocratic set. I'm such a stinker!

It would have been impossible for us to develop our plan for the world if we had been subject to the bright lights of publicity during those years. But, the world is now more sophisticated and prepared to march towards a world-government. This is SO right!

Anyone who liked Bill with his compromise-and-concede method of governance is gonna LOVE Hillary!  There are those who grew up poor and have managed to maintain their connection with the "under-class" and can appeal to them from their own elevated status.  Bill was one of those but Hillary is not!  Her history is one of opportunism and status-climbing.  She doesn't even understand that mandatory health insurance, even with government assistance, is no panacea to the well-being of the poor who cannot even afford the company-mandated "deductible and co-payments" and so forego the needed medical care and still suffer from the government-mandated reduction of their already-meager sustenance.  The end of their suffering will not arrive under Hillary's leadership.
