Sheep dont really need sheepdogs, do they?

We have only ourselves to blame for being led by the nose with the catch phrase du jour. Terrorists are freedom fighters to some, handy political tools to others, excuses for constituional violations to our pResident. Dont you think that bin Laden would be dead in a cave in Tora Bora if he wasnt so useful to the radical right?

So, do you blame Bush? How about that evil Cheney person? Better yet it must be Rummy's fault after all,huh? All we must do, I'll bet, is elect those unimpeachably pure Democrats and all this will go away......sorry folks, to really find the culprit responsible for the demise of our democracy and the slaughter of innocents world wide all that is needed is a mirror.

You are so right. The Democrats are no cure. They are a tourniquet, and I just want to stanch the blood for a moment so I can think. But if you follow your thinking all the way to the end, you find yourself at some of my other essays, which people like even less, at times. Because the truth is, in Bush's arrogant and criminal acts, you are actually seeing the America we have always had—from the days of the Native American genocidal Manifest Destiny-driven rampages, to the unprovoked attack on the Seminoles in 1818 (what is now FL, USA) to bolster our rep and scare off the Brits, to the war on Iraq. America is a war-hungry, profit-driven, god-tainted land of selfishness underneath all the candy wrapping, and nobody is going to solve that.

Do you like that view better? How do you solve that piece? Ignore it? Move? Vote? Nothing will change what America is at heart. Because nothing changes what Man is at heart (except Man, as you say, but while you and I may change, the masses will remain composed of the same percentages of blind people and sheep that it has since over 5,000 years ago).

Even since the days of Hatsheptsut (only female Pharaoh in Ancient Egypt) to George W. Bush, leaders have been lying about their divine mandates to scoop up power, land and riches—or perhaps just crazy enough to hear from a murderous Gawd! And until we leave this bright pearl, I submit, Good will battle with Greed and Fear.

I agree: Democrats are no cure. But nobody but the Bush administration has been this damaging to our American Pretense. I'd like to at least get somebody semi-sane up at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. so we can stop reacting to constant lawbreaking and corruption long enough to get a good overview of what we really DO need to change for the (long-term, big-pic) better.

After we "stanch the flow," we can talk about what to do to really become a beautiful Nation, inside to out. Maybe you'll have some suggestions. Bring along your mirror.

The most prolific form of terrorism we have to fear are the Corporate Elite, those sitting in the White House and the corrupt agencies that have spawned from the Pentagon. They brought us 9/11. Not some skinny bearded arab sitting in a cave holding a lap top.
Shock, trauma and genocide all rolled into one. And during the trauma & shock they rolled out a fable which was bought hook line and sinker and they got what they planned. A foot in the door to begin seizing global assets. And it has been downhill since then for the people of this country and others abroad.

So much death with such a cavalier attitude.

I always thought Americans were thinking people, questioning people.
Everyone better start doing both and demanding the truth..That is the only way this roller coaster is going to stop or we will all find ourselves practicing what my children did..crawling under a table, bending over grabbing your ankles and kissing your behinds good bye...

As stupid an excercise then as it would be now.

The only thing that is going to change anything is exposing the lies and airing the truth and it's long overdue.. and the urgency greater..
Do what I did, go to ProgressivePress.com and get a copy of "Waking Up From Our Nightmare..The 9/11/01 Crimes in New York City" by Don Paul and Jim Hoffman... 59 pages of truth and if that doesn't light your fire nothing will. If it doesn't make you mad as hell nothing will....AND If it doesn't, this administration will when they nuke Iran.

But of course then..it will be too late.

Take your choice..Truth now? or never?
Get informed..then get a voice, tell everyone you know, hound your elected and make it loud & demanding until they hear you.
