What's more, since he feels so strongly about the efficacy of the surge, maybe it's time for the senator from Arizona to suit up, and spend the next hundred years in Baghdad himself. Oh, and he can take George Bush, both of them, with him, too.

we need a national strike to take back the world for human beings-jesus says to take up the cross--well lets pick it up --humans for humans july 4th--lets all strike nationally for two weeks --take to the streets peacefully and demand the end of killing other human beings--or just ride the hellbound train-the world is crashing in so many areas-our last chance is upon us---a national strike is the only answer that the corperate world will understand-look at the past and see what it has accomplished-- humans for humans-- a national 2 week strike july 4th---and we will see what the corperate world thinks about this---- skiidogs@gmail.com

Maybe Wright was right: if anyone doubts that America already HAS been "Damned", they need only to look at what 8 years of Bush/Cheney have done to us!
Now extrapolate that by several factors, and imagine the process complete!

there is no organized progressive movement or ideology that could produce a successful one as yet. I rather like the grieving father's idea in the movie "In the Valley of Elah" of everyone flying their flags in the "distressed" position--upside down, that is. If all progressives in a position to raise a flag, flew it in the upside down position, a powerful message would be sent not only to our own politicians, but to the citizens of the world. And it would be nigh impossible for the MSM to hide such background noise from every broadcast, and every upside down flag would be like a burning tree, catching other citizens' discontent on fire and upending their own flags. The ultimate message delivered to the world is that we are being held hostage by our government and do not stand accountable for its crimes. We are rejecting the actions of our government, the legitimacy of our elections, and the repudiation of our Constitution, and we signal our distress for all of the world to see.

McCain wants to be the new WAR PRESIDENT so bad he's drooling!
And consider this:
If Congress doesn't move Immediately to IMPEACH the war criminals we've already GOT running and ruining the country, McCain will START OUT with all the DICTATORIAL powers Bush/Cheney have spent 8 years accumulating!
Not a pretty picture at all, is it?

Remember, when Clinton was President, the Republican Congress was telling us that a national health program, even keeping Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid would bankrupt this nation? Half the voters in this country drank that juice while putting anti-abortion and homosexual marriage at the top of the agenda by electing George W. Bush.
After five years and a trillion dollars in debt, we can afford this tragic war and still cannot afford health care.
