Sobering, painful diagnosis- but what is the cure?

The diagnosis is sharp and clear.  Your readers all know many friends and family who suffer these symptoms.  How may we intervene?  How may we treat and rehabilitate those who must be healed of this type of personality disorder?   The problem is multi-faceted and the symptoms are clear, but what needs more attention are the types of therapies that we can use to cure individuals of this affliction.

I thought it time for a revision to the biography. Where I seem to have "disturbed" a fair number of posters here at OEN to the point they've asked me not to write about their comments, feel free to call me "troll", "shill", "neo-con lapdog", "jack-booted thug", or "bad hat Harry". "C" is for cookie that's good enough for me!

Knowledge without wisdom is dangerous.  The only treatment that has proven successful is a de-emphasis of your expectations of others (even though you clearly KNOW what's better for them) and an increased acceptance on changing that which you can control - yourself.

Being a wage slave of the American Empire is infinitely better than being a used martyr in a quest for glory throughout the afterlife.  The former has cookies.

Very interesting albeit fatally-biased read.  America and its people are not "Evil Incarnate" as the article might - just might - imply.

What was omitted

What was omitted from this analysis is the fact that Bush Cheney Rice - the whole Bushite cabal - are child molesters of the worst sort.

They have maimed, murdered and crippled untold thousands of children in Iraq. They did it for their own personal gratification.

If that does not fit the definition of child abuse, what does?

And I contend that anyone who supports the Bush Cabal are accomplices and co-conspirators in their crimes of child molestation.

Therefore: Republicans are child molesters.

They prey on those least capable of defending themselves: poor children in a third world nation on the other side of the world.

35%

At least these pathological morons have had the decency to join the Grotesque Old Party thus making it much easier to keep track of them (for their own good mind you). Perhaps GOP members should be required to take psychological testing. There may be hope for them yet if they are treated.

Truly dizzying logic!

"What was omitted from this analysis is the fact that Bush Cheney Rice - the whole Bushite cabal - are child molesters of the worst sort. They have maimed, murdered and crippled untold thousands of children in Iraq. They did it for their own personal gratification." + "...I contend that anyone who supports the Bush Cabal are accomplices and co-conspirators in their crimes of child molestation." = "Therefore: Republicans are child molesters."

Wow, how can anyone refute THIS logic!

APD caused by a virus

It should be noted that APD is highly contagous. It spreads through such mechanisms as US cable news networks, free trade agreements, and porous borders. Although in mutated form, an alarming number of Canadians are known to have contracted the disease, and France has recently reported an unusually high number cases. Harper in Canada and Sarkosy in France are working tirelessly to assure their populations that they are working on the situation; everything is under control.

Mutants All

It is like one of those horror/SciFi movies where humans are taken over by an alien entity or virus short-circuiting their humanity.  Programmed to destroy in spite of themselves; they are seemingly immune to normal empathy towards fellow humans.  Nothing else explains their supporting corporations, institutions, people and policies which are directly tied to the death and destruction of an unmeasureable number of humans and their cultures and lands.

How these mutants obtain any power and sway amongst the greater number of humanity is truly amazing.  They are virulent and toxic to the human species, and the ecosystem they inhabit, yet destroy.  Why they are even tolerated at all is confounding.  THEY'RE BURNING DOWN THE HOUSE FOLKS!  Their assets are ill-gotten, so why don't we just appropriate them back to the "people" where they were stolen from?  Since they are seen and can be tracked, this mutant alien virus should be collected and put where they can no longer harm the HOST -- THE WHOLE OF HUMANITY AND OUR ENVIRONMENT ITSELF!  Isn't it time to rip off the 3D glassess that are mesmerizing the peoples (by exposing the crimes and bringing truth into the light)?  What's the mechanism to remove our suicidal apathy?  Time is short...the infection is getting nasty and might kill us all!
