Our healthcare problem is a product of our own greed - in the 70s and 80s we kept trying to sneak more and more procedures under our "insurance" coverage to get out more then we were putting in. All we did was raise our own premiums. Then one day, the healthcare providers flipped a switch and everything had to go through them no matter how small or routine.

Our political woes? Laziness - we stopped watching, stopped working at governing ourselves. We let politicians con us into believing they were watching out for our best interests instead of watching over them and counting every single dime they spend. It doesn't matter whether it was done by a Republican or Democrat, our national debt is over ten trillion dollars today and our kids have to pay it back. The point is, this needs to stop. It's time now.

This is something any two dads can agree on, in any neighborhood in America.
