We know the CIA botched thousands of National Security Letter requests for private information. If the WHite House rewards their pals, fires and smears all their opponents, and have been caught lying repeatedly, why then would we assume that the White House wasn't abusing the power to eavesdrop, especially since we know they skipped thousands of required warrants?
