A Paleolithic mindset does not acknowledge that wealth is not generated indefinitely by moving money around through every conceivable financial scheme; finally, something of intrinsic value has to be produced.
In the pursuit of a frozen vision and immediate, transitory private profit, this Paleolithic mindset is willing to sacrifice the future of the United States, and the future of the world.
As much of the world clearly sees and understands, this obsolete mindset doesn't work; it destroys the very things it seeks: peace, and political and economic security. The world is moving in a new direction and the 21st century is leaving this mindset, and this nation, in the dust.
Note: Paleolithic is being used for poetic effect to convey the sense of an outmoded and archaic mindset. My apologies to those real Paleolithic cultures that were more civilized and civil than the current mindset.
Pretty much agree with your analysis. It was not always this way. Our society, culture and politics have all gone down the toilet over recent decades. So from where will bold new ideas, values - a mindset - come from? Certainly not from the plutocrats, elites, corporatist state, Democraps and Republicrooks that have the money and the power. We must open up our complex nation to new leaders with much better ideas. There are many ways to do this; I offer them in my new book Delusional Democracy. Most important is for the general public to get some control over the economy by politicizing their consumer spending, and to enable third-parties to get back into competitive positions in our political system.
