One last thing: as we watch Clinton gleefully descend to the absolute bottom of the gutter to win this nomination, we must remember that Obama has largely avoided a negative campaign against Clinton, despite evidence that such a campaign would be effective: it worked for Clinton in Texas and Ohio. Obama has taken more than one hit for the well-being of the Democratic Party, despite the fact that it is cutting into his lead. Obama is a team player; Clinton is happy to see her team finish dead last, as long as her personal fantasy points are on top, and Democratic leaders must award a more favorable disposition toward the nobler candidate.

If this were a soccer game, Clinton would have been ejected three months ago. If it were boxing, Obama would be missing both ears. This primary is a travesty and an insult to our Democratic traditions, and the leaders must fulfill their role as referees and uphold decorum for the greater good of the Democratic Party.

Clinton, perhaps talking about Iran
