I read it...and, wow, I could not believe that Steve would have the sheer courage to write this book. Predictably, he had to seek out an alternative publisher (the clinical lack of gonadal fortitude in all domains of mainstream media being just to the right of appalling), found one...and away he goes.
As a thriller, the book is satisfying and the story deftly woven.
As a statement, The Shell Game joins 1984 in its protean implications.
Nelson DeMille did a fine job with Wild Fire, a novel with a not-altogether dissimliar theme, save for the perps and that is what matters most.
There has been a spurt of post-9/11 literature and film, running the full range from blatant propaganda (Flight 93) to Loose Change (a slickly-done challenge to the official conspiracy theory) to The Shell Game. Of them all, none will have the impact of Steve's novel.
Look for frothing aplenty from the Becks, O'Reillys and Limbaughs.
Works for me.

No book release has ever stirred me like this one. I heard a rumor it was out today and hauled my meaty gluteal "muscle" to both Bs...to no avail.

For those still not in the know, the "truth movement" has been operated by the 9/11 perpetrators since day one. The 9/11 perpetrators are those with affiliations to directed energy weapons and the media. They plant individuals to control the "truth movement". Some examples:
Van Romero - made presentations at the Directed Energy Professional Society. He steered the "truth movement" towards standard controlled demolitions by stating the WTC could have been destroyed with a "relatively small amount of explosives". But anyone looking at this picture can tell that there's no way it was done with a "relatively small amount of explosives".
Steven Jones - worked at Los Alamos where directed energy weapons are researched. He spends much time ridiculing the 9/11 directed energy weapon evidence. He also discredited "free energy" Cold Fusion research in 1989.
Bob Bowman - former Director of the Star Wars Program. What is this guy doing in the truth movement??? No... he doesn't speak up about the 9/11 directed energy weapon evidence. Instead, he talks about NORAD's procedures for scrambling jets.
NIST- Why did the government contract with sponsors of the Directed Energy Professional Society for the NIST Report? Perhaps to coverup the directed energy weapon evidence?

Robert Bowman, former Lt. Colonel in the US Air Force is one of the finest human beings I've ever met.
This Brooklyn person, asks you to believe he's evil because he served in the military. Let me tell you how Dr. Bowman got involved in 9/11 truth.
He was a fighter pilot, and Air Force aeronautics expert. On 9/11 he, as we did, watched in stunned disbelief as for one and a half hours four hijacked aircraft flew into the most protected airspace in the world . . . AND NOT ONE FIGHTER INTERCEPTER SHOWED UP UNTIL IT WAS TOO LATE.
Bowman being an ex-fighter pilot, knew that that would not happen without an Air Force stand down of some kind. He said that that in itself indicates TREASON, because if standard procedures had taken place those planes would have been intercepted, meaning someone ordered a stand down.
Now folks, how in the h*ll is someone like that part of the govt. conspiracy.
Brookyn's wild accusations make the whole 9/11 truth movement look like "red under my bed" lunatics. Perhaps that's the plan, I don't know, and don't really care.
BUT, I do think that those rational readers here see that Dr. Robert Bowman is a hero for speaking the truth, and Brooklyn's off hand character assasination of such a man is beneath contempt.
You'll find "some" posters on these threads who "purport" to be interested in 9/11 truth attacking good people who've put EVERYTHING on the line to fight for truth . . . while these Brooklyn types spend all their energy attacking those people who do fight for truth against all odds.

Please take a look through the timeline I put together. You may be surprised. For instance:
The New York Times publishes evidence for explosives at the WTC, but redacts evidence for directed energy weapons. Why?
I don't know Bob Bowman's objective. He certainly sounds sincere to me, even when he told a story about the Challenger disaster to a very small group of people (myself included) in NY a few years ago. But it's just too coincidental that a prominent member of the truth movement was director of Star War, and that he doesn't speak up for the directed energy weapon evidence. Sorry.

Right, right. The man (among others) who also gave the world the revolutionary energy source of "cold fusion". This is made in jest because Dr. Jones' earlier work seems sound, but his more recent work on 9/11 is disturbing and appears to have forced him into early retirement from BYU.
However and given that Cedar Fort Books - a growing LDS communications entity - is the publisher, and Dr. Jones is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and Steve Alten is also a member, is this REALLY a newsworthy item? Nope.
The following article also lends credence to the fact that the publisher, in light of its sizeable $50,000 advance to Mr. Alten, needs to make some money on the sale of "The Shell Game" - http://www.religionnewsblog.com/19038/david-ridges . So, support a publisher and buy a book!

CB Brooklyn and Tom Murphy are hyperventilating at the idea that millions of people might actually learn about the lies of 9/11 through this successful action novel.
They use any little thing that pops into their minds in an effort to destroy "The Shell Game" and to destroy anyone supporting it.
This thread has been instructive, because it becomes VERY OBVIOUS that CB Brooklyn and Tom Murphy are only here to try to stop anyone from doing anything that will break 9/11 truth out into the mainstream mind.
If you are new to 9/11 truth, look through these threads. They use character assasination, guilt by association, outright deceptive logic . . . to destroy, destroy destroy.
While those they aim at are on the verge of breaking out something important and meaningful to all who hunger for a massive push for a new 9/11 investigation.
"The Shell Game" has already sold out of its original print of 40,000 so far . . . and with the help of activists out there hungering for truth to break it will set sales records . . . and the author and his website promoting 9/11 truth will break into the mainstream mind . . .
CB Brookly and Tom Murphy seem terrified that will happen . . . but I think the rest of us are pretty rightfully EXCITED ABOUT IT.
Urge EVERYONE to get "The Shell Game." One activist posted he'd gotten 10 copies to give away, and when they hit the bookstores on the 22nd, he's going to get 10 more. I think I will too, and send them to all my relatives who LOVE NOVELS, but couldn't handle what I told them about 9/11.
I think their minds will be more open after reading the page turning "The Shell Game."

Who's always 1st to be mentioned as a "9-11 Scientist"
As CB Brooklyn rightly points out, you have to consider all the evidence - not only the physical evidence of 9/11, but the HISTORY of those claiming to have analysed and discussed it. Here is a clip from a quality discussion of 2 scientists (they say) who talk about 9/11 quite a bit:
Ask Dr Jones about the legal action he is taking - or does he think selling books is more important? Yes, I know it's not his own book, but anyway - it's a fictional book isn't it - so it's pretty close to the OGCT isn't it? (i.e. fiction). Gotta keep the people dazed and confused about 9/11.
So cut through the confusion and look at the photos. Ask the questions. Then take them to court.

As I've said before for those new to 9/11 truth. You'll find two kinds of posts on these threads:
1) Those who spend all their time tearing apart people and actions that bring the 9/11 questions into the public mind
2) Those who spend all their time fighting for truth, and innovating ways to expand 9/11 truth into the public mind
Dr. Steven Jones has been in the #2 catagory since he sacrificed his career for 9/11 truth and justice.
Those on this list tearing at this great man . . . well I think you can see where they fit.
Their attacks on Dr. Jones and on "The Shell Game," are beneath contempt. These posters sit safe before their computers attacking a physics professor who laid his career on the line for truth, and a NY Times best selling author who laid his career on the line for truth.
Your attacks are beneath contempt and you are not fooling anyone.
If you are knew to 9/11 truth, the growing coalition supporting readership of this new novel "The Shell Game," comprises most of the major players who've sacrificed for years, lost careers, etc. to fight for 9/11 truth.
They see in this best selling author's novel a chance to get real 9/11 truths out into the mass public mind. YOu can stand with them . . .
