Riverside County has just capitulated and WILL BE POSTING THE RESULTS TAPES AT THE POLLING PLACE. This was not the result of a legal strategy or a massive fundraising effort. It was the result of citizens putting their shoulder to the wall.
Progress will be incremental, but it will be steady and make a real difference, if you just walk the walk, each of us doing the work in our own steadfast and imaginative way.
We got into this mess because we sat back and watched and counted on everyone else to fix things. We'll get out of it by taking matters into our own hands. You don't need to cure the world's ills in one fell swoop -- just walk the walk, do the work, and have a little faith in your fellow men and women.
It will work.
