In time perhaps I will be able to come back to some of the more open, more tolerant, more peace-making, more compassionate ways of being that formerly were at the core of who I was and of the work I did.

For now, however, while I continue to try to do "God's" work in the world, and while (unlike Hillary) I eschew "the devil's" ways, I can see that the contagion of evil's patterns has left its mark on me, making me (like Hillary) more like the very things I oppose.
