I’ll be surprised if, in ’06 and ’08, there aren’t numerous mysterious statistical deviations, wholesale purging of Democratic voter records, a glut of voting machines in regressive precincts, but not nearly enough in Democratic ones, inaccurate exit polls, and a cowed media and opposition that would rather die than bring any of it up publicly.

If we’re content to allow our elections to be controlled and manipulated by people who couldn’t care less about our welfare, then we probably deserve what we get.
