The Hydra Heads of Bush's World War III

Bush WW3 # 5: The Hydra Monster has many heads, but let's stop with just one more from Bush’s WW3:

The Bush Royal Family (or is it the Saudi Royal Family – hard to tell, isn’t it?) has declared an absolute war against love. The last time our planet was in the grip such evil and hatred was during the middle of the 20th Century. Then they were called the 3rd Reich or the Nazis (note that Prescott Bush, George Bush’s grandfather, had many, public and financial dealings with these black booted sadists). Arguably, the Bush/Republican administration should be called the 4th Reich, since it's an exact clone of the murderous, psychopathic, money, and power worshipping fascists of that century.

Why do we NEVER think of words like "gentleness", and "open mindedness", and "compassion" when we look at Bush/Republicans? No, what we see are sexually repressed men who are hopelessly addicted to power and money, exactly like the Nazis. They do everything but goose step in public (who knows what they do in private!). A Bush/Republican wouldn't know the meaning of kindness, compromise, or open mindedness if he/she/it found it in their boggling tax break Christmas stocking.

This isn't hyperbole. Honestly think about it. Do we EVER associate words like love, compassion, or wisdom with this army of George Bush "things"? Bush is pathology and stupidity incarnate, and so is his fascist army of hate machines.

The trick, as many of you well know, about the Hydra Monster is to find ways to cut off the heads without having even more grow back in their place.

Politics can help a little, but now much. The 2006 Democratic successes are clearly ending in whimpers, not bangs and "centrist" dems like Judas Joe Lieberman and Hillary Clinton are just Republicans light. Or said differently, they are bought and paid for "enablers" of the Hydra Monster.

So, as always, it comes back to what to do, what to do? 2008 is still a VERY long time away, and living in the present works both psychologically and politically.

Well, what about optimism? What about recommitting to things like love, sanity, and rationality. The point is (if I may share my own wishful thinking) is that WE MUST NOT DESPAIR. We've got to keep the faith that the magnificent Constitutional legacy bequeathed to us by our wise and courageous forefathers is still an unsinkable Ship of State.

Europe and America survived WW2. Surely we can do the same. They had their mad King George. We have ours.

Hey, if millions of us had the grit to survive a killer divorce and/or to stop smoking, we can survive ANYTHING! Right?
