Got Food?

Has it ever really made sense that the environmental lobby in the U.S. had the power to thwart the development of resources so vitally needed by the American people, to stand firmly in the way of the great U.S. oil industry, and to prevent every effort to achieve energy independence? Jeez, gag me with a spoon. Global warming is just the latest manifestation of this particular stratagem. The mysterious black box climate models endorsed primarily by U.N. scientists and politicians supposedly proving massive man-made global warming are at best a politically convenient device for quelling interest in calls for U.S. energy independence, as such development would void the U.S. non-compete agreement with Middle Eastern oil producing nations. At worst, they are a complete fraud.

Follow the money. Read Financial Tsunami, Part II above carefully, and you will see how the plans of the Establishment are intimately tied up with the banking system and the U.S. dollar, and according to Lindsay Williams and others, the fate of the dollar is tied up with oil.

A watershed event in the history of the dollar was the appointment of Rockefeller’s hand-picked man, Paul Volcker, as Chairman of the Fed in 1979. Volcker’s interest rate hikes precipitated the Latin American debt crisis, were instrumental in wringing concessions from our Southern neighbors, and had disastrous effects on their national sovereignty and long term economic well being. Nationalist barriers were broken down via international union and trade agreements, and “capital” was diverted from the U.S. to invest in infrastructure owned by or under the political control of the bankers and transnational corporations operating in third world nations. It is much easier to exploit people and resources in countries where the resources are relatively intact and the population does not have the education, experience, government or weapons to defend themselves. The Indians it seems never cease getting the short end of the stick.

Maintenance of U.S. dollar hegemony is essential for Establishment world domination and control. Volcker was sent by Rockefeller to intervene in the monetary system to protect the interests of the Establishment, for just two reasons: 1) to maintain the value of the dollar to insure it retained its status as the world reserve currency, and 2) to permit the banking elite to continue their conquest and plunder of third world countries.

Why was it necessary to intervene militarily in the Middle East under Bush I and Bush II? There was a threat to the Establishment’s system of dollar hegemony. The two countries in the Middle East that refused the Petrodollar bargain offered by Kissinger were: Iraq - the No. 2 oil producing county in the world, and Iran - the No. 3 country. Both countries balked at the requirement to sell oil only in dollars and to buy all U.S. debt. Venezuela is another country on the U.S.’s bad side for the same reasons.

Likewise, the USSR threatened Establishment interests when they invaded Afghanistan. The U.S. could not permit the USSR to get their foot in the door in the Middle East. The U.S. had to stop them, get them out. As part of the effort, the U.S. supported Bin Laden and other mujahedeen. Later, I suppose Bin Laden became a pawn to help the U.S. justify its own intervention in place of the USSR when he conveniently turned on his former handlers. It is not even necessary to posit that 9/11 was a setup to support this scenario, although such a supposition would certainly explain much. No great complicated conspiracy was necessary. All that would have been needed was a lack of effort to stop the attack. And, now the U.S. is in the Middle East – building advance military bases, building an embassy the size of Vatican City, protecting the oil fields and pipelines, taking a direct hand in regional politics, and most importantly protecting the U.S. dollar – oil link.

So, what’s the end game? A disturbing connection can be found in the NY Times just six days after No Quick Fix to Downturn was published. The article A New, Global Oil Quandary: Costly Fuel Means Costly Calories demonstrates the link between oil prices, high food prices, and might foretell days of politically and financially engineered famine ahead for the third world. The Establishment, however, plans to make out just fine, and Engdahl's new book "Seeds of Destruction: The Hidden Agenda of Genetic Manipulation" tells how.

According to Engdahl, Washington and four Anglo-American agribusiness giants plan world domination by patenting life forms to gain worldwide control of our food supply. Was this what Henry Kissinger meant in 1970 when he said: "Control oil and you control nations; control food and you control the people?"

No way, that’s too low you say. But according to Engdahl, a great fear of the elites is over-population and ultimately resource depletion. No problem, when crunch time comes, and the population crashes, the elite agribusiness giants will have their seed bank stashed away on a remote "Doomsday Seed Vault" in the Arctic.

For those interested who might be interested in the book, a three part comprehensive review is available on GlobalResearch.ca: "Seeds of Destruction, The Hidden Agenda of Genetic Manipulation" (Part I), Agribusiness Giants seek to gain Worldwide Control over our Food Supply (Part II), and Unleashing GMO Seeds: "Food is Power" (Part III).

What, can’t sleep? Ah, forget it. It’s all just "a theory" Boo!

Thinking Outside The Box

The Evil That Men Do.

Thanks for only using the tangible.

If only the rest of the more aware would have enough self scrutiny as to not suppose the extreme extrapolation as absolute.

More than enough evidence of foul play whether intended or not.
