6) We will seek to control nuclear weapons by restoring the nuclear NonProliferation Treaty, pressuring Israel, India and Pakistan to join it, and start the process of disarmament of nuclear nations mandated by Article VI. 7) We will seek to redirect federal monies from the military budget to rebuilding the commons, including universal health care, social welfare, education, infrastructure, water, wilderness, public access TV, and others. 8) We will put people’s needs above corporate profit, and work for long -term goals, such as sustainable energy, protection of the environment, and fairness to all segments of the population.
